Outstanding location, cleanliness, hospitality and added benefits such as guide books, magazines, bottled water, daily housekeeping during covid, breakfast, coffee and fridge in room etc. Boutique hotel at center of best of Palm Beach Island a block from beach. Room decor simple but updated rooms and pristine. Staff friendly and available. Little extras like fresh bottled water daily snacks in lobby nice courtyard etc. Fantastic place to be.

Wonderful inn. Very comfortable, quiet. I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler here. Would recommend.

We stayed here while in town attending a wedding. The inn is in prime location for walking around town and to the beach without the hefty price of many other places in the area. The room was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the cafe next door. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Palm Beach Historic Inn December 2021. I can't say enough great things - from their friendly staff, their updated rooms, complimentary snack and coffee bar and LOCATION! We couldn't get over the location! We were wishing walking distance to the highly sought after bars, shopping, restaurants, beaches and breakfast diners! We cannot wait to stay here again and highly recommend it anyone visiting Palm Beach!
Five stars!

I loved my stay at the Palm Beach Historic Inn! The location was amazing - walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, and I loved that this was a small boutique hotel. The room was very comfortable and beautifully updated, while still feeling authentically historic. Thanks for the hospitality, and I can't wait to visit again soon!

Absolutely the cutest inn on Palm Beach. Conveniently located walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping on Worth Ave. We had an amazing time staying here and loved the personal touches in the shared coffee kitchen area. We will definitely be staying again!

We had the most amazing stay! Absolutely incredible location with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and the beach within walking distance. Priscilla and her team were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast/ 24/7 snack bar was great. We would return in a heart beat!

Horrible customer service. Front desk is rude and unnecessarily standoffish. Could learn a thing or two about proper hospitality service.

Great Place in Palm Beach, a block from the beach, you get free beach chairs and towels. Terrific location, you can purchase a parking pass from the Inn, found plenty of street parking using the pass a block from the Inn. Never moved our car in 3 days, within walking distance of at least 15 restaurants, wine stores, shopping, downtown and thrift stores. Check in was easy and efficient, Priscilla was great and very professional. Excellent breakfast bar, food is out 24/7 so you eat or snack in the lobby or take to your room where you have your own fridge. When we return to Palm Beach we will definitely stay at Palm Beach Historic Inn again, everything you would expect from an Inn with such a rich history, highly recommend it, Mark Gordon

Was the most unfriendly and non helpfull hotel I have ever stayed at. Couldn't believe how rude the front desk lady was. Will never return. Save your money for the other hotels in the area. 350 dollars for a night's stay there was definitely not worth it

We spent a great weekend at the palm beach historic hotel. The staff were very welcoming and took care of everything. The rooms were clean and the bed was amazing. Centrally located to everything, 2 blocks from the beach and chairs and towels are available anytime. I definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I just spent five nights here and were very pleased. The small inn was perfect for our stay, very quiet, near the beach, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful.

I just booked a room here through Hotel Tonight and when I arrived the woman told me my room was cancelled because she accepted a last minute walk in. When I expressed my exasperation all she did was say sorry. No assistance helping me find another room or offer to pay for a ride to another hotel. I’ve never had this happen before with Hotel tonight. Hotel Tonight had called me from a 1-888 number to tell me while I was en route but I assumed it was a spam call and didn’t answer. The woman at the desk just said Hotel Tonight called you. Not great service is the nicest review I can give.

You get what you pay for. For the price, it was a cute hotel and a convenient location. However, being a business traveler, it is hard to be happy and comfortable while having to do without everything I am used to.

The area that is now known as Palm Beach used to be called Lake Worth. The name change is said to be a result of the shipwreck Providencia. The ship was sailing in January 1878 with a load of coconuts bound from Havana to Barcelona when it became stranded on a reef. Early settlers quickly gathered up and planted the non native coconuts that washed up in order to start a commercial coconut industry. Hence the name Palm Beach was born.

Word spread of the area and in 1880 the first hotel, the Coconut Grove House opened. In 1894 Henry M. Flagler's Royal Poinciana Hotel opened and he brought the Florida East Coast Railroad in 1896 which increased people to the area. The town of Palm Beach was incorporated on April 17,1911.

The Palm Beach Historic Inn was built in 1923 by Harvey and Clark. It was designed in a Mediterranean Revival Architecture style that was popular during Florida's land boom years. The inn is a boutique hotel located in downtown Palm Beach FL across the street from town hall and very close to the Atlantic Ocean. All rooms are located on the second floor of the hotel and there isn't an elevator. The rooms were refreshed in 2000 with new paint and furniture. They also do not have a parking lot but provide street parking placards or there is a garage for $27 a day. Rooms run around $150 a night and you are within walking distance of the beach, shopping, and dining. Love the architecture and history of this inn. Nice to see a 100 years later they are still in business.
