Do not do not put your child here especially if it’s high school. The school is horrible and the teachers think they can talk to your child anyway they want. They search a minor with out the parents permission. This school needs to be shut down. The school outer and inner appearance looks horrible. The staff and principal is a big jk

This was my daughter’s first year at PBMA! My younger brother went there years ago. We adopted our little girl a year ago and she came from a not great situation. The staff at PBMA have handled her very well. She’s happy there and everyone knows and treats her with love and respect. Her Teacher Ms. Mottley is AMAZING. Our communication is great. I love the staff at this school from Mrs. Cooper the parent liaison to the janitor Mr. Robert. The teachers counselor I have nothing bad to say about any of them and I’ve volunteered many times and have work with many of them in doing so. The kids are taught to be kind, helpful and respectful not only to the adults but to each other, and they really are. I’ve seen many times the kids helping another child if they were to shy or didn’t have enou$ for something. Just today on a field trip I watched as my daughters whole class chanted and encouraged her as she conquered a fear of heights and when she did it they all clapped for her. I’m tearing up just thinking of the many times I’ve seen these kinds of gestures the school encourages. This school is the best elementary school by far I believe in the county and I can only imagine when she moves to the middle and high school with the foundation put in place from kindergarten on. Thank you PBMA for all you do for our kids and their families with the bringing in food donations for the families in need as well.

My child has been here since Kindergarten, she has had multiple principals. She is now going to the 2nd grade with another new principal. I don't understand what is going on with this school and their stuff, none of them know anything when you call them. Bulling was a big problem at first until I had to show my natural behind at the school, Why is my child still here you ask? Well, I will tell you its because its conveniently located near my home and she had two great teachers there since she been there. Hopefully its the same coming into the 2nd grade, fingers crossed!

***Update: Definitely has gotten better in the last couple years, no problems with bulling and all my concerns are taken care of accordingly! She’s now going to the fifth grade and loves her teachers. Thank you

If I could give 0 stars I would. This school is the worst school in palm beach county. They constantly false advertise about everything. They care more about dress code when there are far greater problems to deal with. This school is horribly maintained and we barely have any teachers because who would willingly want to work here and we went through 3 different principals this school year. If you want your kid to be happy DO NOT send them here at all cost

Disgusting school! Black mold in bathrooms, in classrooms, tiles coming up.school is not maintained.
Teachers have favorites and treat other students poorly. No structure. This school should be shut down! Absolutely pathetic excuse for an educational establishment!

To be frank, there’s so much to say. I began at PBMA as a student when it was previously on Dixie. I’ve experienced the opening of both the 1st and 2nd campus (middle/high school) & I’m more than happy to have had that opportunity. At the time, I had the most memorable teachers. Our teachers were more than just educators, they were vital to molding us into the adults that we are now. I honestly can’t believe the patience that they had. We did so many extracurricular activities including the Plywood Regatta, Lantana beach cleanups, talent shows, NJHS, street painting festival & so much more. After graduating, I found myself missing all these marine experiences that I made so many fond memories out of. Nonetheless, I somehow managed to come back to PBMA. This time not as a student but employed. I find joy in every day that I come. I love working with the students, getting to know them, and the faculty at the school. These parents are so involved with the school that I’ve gotten to know so many families. It was a blast to see all the kids at one of our roller skating fundraisers. Who knew these kids and even other teachers could skate so well! I’m so proud to be part of the fabulous family that PBMA has created and has continued to nurture. I hope you take the time to consider becoming a part of PBMA, you certainly won’t regret it.

My 5 YEAR OLD daughter READS BOOKS, ADDS, SUBTRACTS, WRITES she has bloomed after being in this school. I wish they would Offer an IQ test for kinder to see if we can challenge her education a bit more! But besides that AMAZING SCHOOL

As a teacher with 49 years teaching experience, I can honestly say that this is the best school I have taught in Florida. I have lived in Florida for 16 years, and the last 5 have been at PBMA. Our principal is phenomenal. She supports her faculty and allows us autonomy, to be able to use our talents as we see fit. We are not a cookie-cutter faculty of robots following a district or state mandated teaching methodology. Instead, we teach the Florida State Standards and Common Core using innovative techniques that coincide with our mission as a maritime and college preparatory school. She is also always available to parents and students, spending personal time to make sure that our students are successful. I could have retired many years ago, but it is the administration, faculty/staff, students and parents who keep me going. All I can say is thank you, PBMA.

PBMA is just Awesome! The staff is very tentive to the children and are quick to look into difficult matters and share their ideas and concerns for what's best for your child. There are some staff that can be troublesome but for the most part my experience has been positive. If your looking for a good school look no further as this place has a great curriculum to keep your children engaged and learning a lot.

My little cousin goes to this school and the teachers very disrespectful She is now going to the 5 grade with another new principal. I don't understand what is going on with this school and their stuff, none of them know anything when you call them. Bulling was a big problem at first until I had to show my natural behind at the school. Also the stuff gives the students referral for dumb reasons, and switch their classes ever two day. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO NO ONE
