If your room at Marriott Singer Island is managed by Urgo Hotels, you can expect subpar rooms and zero service resolving any issues. I will never return to this otherwise wonderful location.

I would highly recommend this Marriott. Beautiful location, facility and rooms. What really made it special was the service and the employees. Raj at the front desk was excellent along with the rest of the staff.

Very expensive tiny, poor ocean front.see pics. Clean and neat. But what a huge disappointment from the adds, and marketing.it's like a work compound.

PROS:
LOCATION: Fantastic. The property is right on the beach with many rooms with ocean views. There are several restaurants / tiki bars within easy walking distance and a 7-11 is very close.
Property was well maintained and updated. One minor issue with our shower the water would be hot then all of a sudden get cold then back to hot.
Staff was fantastic from the valet folks when we arrived to the entire stay. Raj in particular at the font desk was spectacular-personable, friendly, professionally dressed, and most importantly efficient at his job.

CONS:
Valet parking only: $37/night-no self park option. Does anyone really like having no self-park option? Especially when you forget something in your car-do you make the poor valet guy go get it for you or say the heck with it?
BREAKFAST OPTIONS / QUALITY: We are Marriott Elite (platinum & above) and the free continental breakfast was underwhelming. Consisted of only cold items and pastries, and coffee. (One thing that confounds me about Marriott properties is the differences in the free breakfasts provided-some properties its fantastic with the full hot buffet or generous credit and other properties-such as this one-it's mediocre at best. The one mufffin was not fresh and the pastries were just average. The regular buffet breakfast and omelet station looked very good but very expensive (see menu).
COFFEE SHOP HOURS: I went down to the lobby on a weekday at 6: 30 a.m. And the coffee shop wasn't even open yet! Walked down the street to get a coffee. My guess is it opens at 7 a.m. If you're an early riser, don't count on early coffee unless you make it using the Keurig in the room.
SUMMARY: Overall a very nice property. The mandatory valet parking and late opening coffee shop were a bit frustrating but the friendliness of the staff, the location, and upkeep of the property were all excellent.

I don’t understand the low reviews. This place was gorgeous! The rooms, balcony, bathrooms were amazing. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom and it was fabulous. Every
Staff member must be trained to greet you. I mean every one. Valet is expensive but they are on point. We followed their directions and called 10-15 minutes before we wanted our vehicle and it was waiting for us every time. Their breakfast was wonderful. The in room Kitchen was lovely, living room was amazing, all was immaculate. Can’t wait to go back.

This property offers a lot for families! Spacious, beautiful beach. Great service. Amazing spa experience, my facial was top notch.

Underwhelmed is the theme we used throughout our stay.
The service, ehh. The rooms, spacious, but antiquated. The restaurant, 3800, disappointing. The spa, SiSpa, waste of money.
I wish I could go back in time and not fall for the picturesque location—because it is a beautiful island with great ocean views.
Avoid this place and find somewhere better.

For some context, we have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times. This was easily the most dysfunctional. Before I get into that, I’d like to make it clear that the staff really made up for the many issues we faced, especially our housekeeper Aida Alfaro, and our favorite beach attendant Jan. I also have to mention the valet, they were on point this trip. Their system has clearly been upgraded and it shows, we never waited more than 15 minutes, even during peak hours. If it weren’t for the amazing staff here, there is a real chance I wouldn’t visit this hotel again. Now begins the issues, firstly, two of the four treadmills weren’t working, we told the front desk this, and 6 days later, it still wasn’t fixed. This had a large impact on our stay as I go running every day, and had a hard time getting a treadmill. Next, our room. The Keurig did not work, and It took over 24 hours to get a new one. On the second day, our fridge water device stopped working. Then our dishwater broke. It’s clear to me these rooms really need updating and fixing. It may not sound like a huge inconvenience, but for the price we pay for this hotel, I certainly expect the basics in our room to work & for all of the treadmills to be working.

Having frequented the resort for staycations over the years, it consistently exceeds expectations. The delectable cuisine, rejuvenating spa treatments, inviting pool, thrilling water slides, and pristine beach create an ideal getaway for both my family and close friends.

The staff here are amazing! I love everything about this resort. They just redid the restaurant and it looks awesome. Can't wait to stay here again!

Valet and bellhops can be a little overwhelming as there is no opportunity to park your own car or move luggage yourself but all the staff were very kind. The bartender, Osama, is one of the nicest, most personable people I've met. His service was exemplary and I looked forward to speaking with him each day at the pool.

Great hotel for families with and/or without children. It's immaculate! The staff is super friendly and welcoming and I feel very comfortable and safe when I come solo. Jan at the beach hut is always there with a smile ready to help with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. I highly recommend this hotel!

Went sliding down.way down, dirty towels on the floor on the lobby elevator entrance the ENTIRE DAY.used to have an elegant dress up vibe, now its shorts and flip flops.the outdoor tiki bar has oldchairs and tables on the sand, room service takes forever.heard some third world conglomerate bought it, that 3xplains the slide in standards.people from barefoot, dirt road nations just dont know class or luxury.

Check in time 3pm, didn't get in til 5. Keys to the room kept deactivating, spent 2 days rectifying it. My family was inadvertently left off the reservation and couldn't get in to use facilities until we arrived 3 hours later, they also had the groceries for the week in their car. Other than a not so up to date room, the staff were quite anazing.

When you stay at this resort, you have to sign up daily for Beach chairs and umbrellas. We flew in on a Saturday and Jan helped us get front row chairs on the beach. Otherwise we would have been 4 rows back. Jan was very helpful.

Jillian absolutely hooked us up. Took my fiance here for a getaway with the baby and our fest room was not ideal. She switched us quickly, got us a crib for the baby. And then absolutely surprised us with a cheese spread, fruits, and a bottle of wine. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort was an absolute paradise on the beach! The rooms were large and modern with beautiful views of the ocean. The swimming pools were clean and the pool area well maintained. A standout feature of the hotel is the direct access to the beach and the amazing coral reef just feet off the shore. Personal shout out to Jan, who took care of the reservations for the beach chairs! She was always prepared with plenty of clean, dry towels and kept the rotation of available chairs well organized! It was lovely seeing her every morning! Also want to say a big Thank You to James and Michelle at the Tiki Hut by the beach! The drinks were amazing and it was a pleasure meeting both of you. Hope to see you all again on our next trip!

The minute you drive into the property you feel like you’ve been transported to a vacation destination somewhere on the islands, the valet, front desk, pool attendants, waiters even cleaning personnel are all amazing and make you feel like a celebrity!
The property is immaculate, rooms are amazing, the pools are gorgeous,
one of the best beaches we’ve been to, it has a small reef with plenty of sea creatures to observe, my kids had a blast snorkeling, and riding a slide at the pool!
Simple the best!
