Palm Beach Skate Zone reviews
15This place is very welcoming! Weather you are experienced, or just want to come and play, they treat you like family! Very clean above and beyond staff! Thank you!
Was my very first time skating. Really funny, not so big but enough. Not expensive, they had like "shows" and a Santa in the ice. Nice staff and organized.
Id come back
Considering all the craziness with kids at this place the workers to a great job. Even the gentleman that give us the skates are nice. I ordered a pizza that was delayed. The cafe manager went out of her way to apologize and ask if she could accommodate me in any other way. She didn’t have to come to my seat and speak with me but she did. That is good customer service.
So much fun during the week when NOONE is there.still fun with a lot of peeps there but MUCH better with open ice. The staff, facilities and food are top notch. The ONLY gripe is the blade edge on the rental "booster cooter" skates, rented for my niece but in ALL reality compared to all of the other ice rink locations in a 150 mile radius, they're above and beyond!
We've been to too many rinks to even count, this rink is on par with some of the best.
London if by far one of the best people at the desk that skate zone has had.we have really enjoyed her help immensely she’s been a great asset to Palm Beach State so I’m glad they have her. She’s very cheerful and has a great personality and is very great with her job and is very professional
I personally love ice skating and this is the perfect place to go if you do too, they have delicious food both junk food and healthy food and the skating area is quite big to do some tricks and that stuff. Price: $20 per skater.
I love coming it my home rink and i love the staff and the service. Especially London at the front desk, she is always so kind and
helpful with everything
My 14 yr old daughter has been welcomed with open arms - she is a new figure skater who advanced quickly - and I am so glad they saw her ability and did not hold her back - the coaches are top level and very good at teaching. I appreciate how welcoming Ronnie is - she is the perfect person in the main lobby to see every visit who makes you feel important and welcomed, and with all of the kids she sees, she knows my daughter's name and that makes her feel significant - we need more Ronnies in the world! And Director Audra knows her students and runs a well organized skating program - and truly has the cream of the crop coaching team! We are very happy at Palm Beach Skate Zone!
A fun night with the family at the Skate Zone. A quaint rink. It wasn't overcrowded so we were able to skate freely. The music and lights add to make the experience fun. I fell a few times which was not fun ;) We have already planned to go back.
Awesome ice skating rink!
Went here for the first time in years and it was an amazing experience. My brother and I took our mother. She hadn’t ice skated in over 20 years. So it was really cool experience that I think we’ll have to do every year from now on.
Skating from 10-4 is only $12 and that includes the skates. You cannot beat that deal. Make sure to dress warm. I wore a t-shirt and brought one sweater. I definitely could’ve faired better with a long sleeve shirt and then the jacket. But overall it’s a fun/great time.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating to you if you needed anything. Went on a weekday so it wasn’t crowded at all which was nice.
Carlos was very rude and disrespectful. My wife fell on the ice and he told her "get up theirs people behind you" and when she was tryna get up he said "get up or you're getting kicked out" will never visit. He almost caught a fade in the parking lot.
We didn't know we needed a waiver until we were waiting in line; apparently many families in front of us were in the same boat. Because the onlinr waiver process is not streamlined the line backs up; you don't get a wristband until you've completed the forms on your phone.
The rental skates have seen better days. Super worn out with missing interior padding on all three of our skates. My daughter's skates had broken laces that prevented them from being tied. When I requested to swap them out they put the defective skates right back on the rack.
While this rink had the most staff in the ice than I've ever seen, they do not do a good job of actually enforcing simple rules. There were many people constantly going in the wrong direction and quite frequently just stopped in the middle of the skating area.
Wish I started my kids at SkateZone earlier. The guys Like Blake Travis Josh Matt love hockey and love helping grow the game and it shows. Tons of opportunities to get on the ice and participate!
