Papa Hughie's Seafood World reviews
15Let me start by saying the fish and sushi was very good, but, this has got to be the noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. There is no sound dampening in the last room so the noise is deafening. Will not go back. There are lots of places with good fish and less noise.
Terrible this place has changed.
It's been awhile since I was here last but I guessing it was sold and new owners.
Use to have Great Italian styled Liguini with White Wine Clam Sauce, WAS disappointed to find out no MORE!
The waiter said tge menu has changed 2 or 3 times in the last year.
Shoukd never Change a Restaurant Successful Menu!
The only good thing is NO MORE Valate Parking.
Had the best grouper fish and chips ever! Everything is always so fresh, and the atmosphere couldn't be more casual. Can't wait to go back again!
Very disappointed ordered calamari just OK grouper francese had no flavor and very chewy $39.00 came with one side no atmosphere just over priced bar food
After almost 40 years of coming back to this place, we were devastated by how not good the food was tonight. Portions small, snapper tough, we won’t be back.
I highly recommend this place, wonderful colossal stone crabs and Chelsea was wonderful server.
Best stone crabs and stuffed main lobster I've had in a long while. Live music was also a nice touch. Definitely will be back.
Go there for the fish and chips on Fridays. They have reduced price drinks for happy hour.
Have been going to this restaurant for many years. They now have a menu with less options and no price on it. They give poor service and food quality will never return to this place.
My go to seafood place-large selection-always fresh- reasonable prices-staff are always friendly. Thank you!
Very disappointed. Crab cakes were full of bread and way overpriced. One crab cake and 2 florets of brocolli for $30. Calamari was like from a supermarket freezer bag. Tacos were ok but we were charged $3 for the sauce to put on them. Didn't complain because we were with out of town guests. Will never go back there. There are too many good fish restaurants to go to in the area. It used to be good.
Good food, server failed to give me my to go order (sushi, 8/22/32) after we were done eating. Hopefully someone will contact me
Good service, however the food did not live up to the expectations to how much we’ve paid. We ordered Nola oysters which were not cleaned properly and topping was so salty which overwhelmed the taste. Fried rice was sticky and under cooked, not something you would expect a fried rice to taste like. King crab legs were over cooked and just served with plain butter and lemon. The only dish we liked is sushi roll which was the cheapest on the menu. We do not recommend this place for those that seek good seafood.
We went during rush time and we had to wait an hour until we got seated. We picked up drinks and coffee while we waited and they were delicious delicious.
Still love this place even after all these years. Really miss the soft shell crab sandwich though. That was my fav! Fish dip is still on point! Lovely to see you guys again at the Pompano deafiod festival this year. Honestly, you guys should be the only food vendors there.ijs.
