Papa John's Pizza, Atlantic Beach FL

Delivery guy did not follow contact less delivery during covid and then was rude about his tip. I will not be ordering from here again.

I should have read reviews! My order was repeated correctly but delivered
wrong. Large pizza, and brownie,
= 36.00 mistake and over priced.
And a half hour late!

They deliver on base! Pizza was delivered on time and still hot!
In comparison to the dominos that delivers on base, this is perfection

Ordered and was told it would be 35 mins. I see an email stating it was delivered but it never was. I called and they said they didn’t have enough drivers. An hour and 45 mins after ordering and still no delivery I canceled the ordered and asked for a refund. We should have stuck with Joseph’s pizza!

Horrible Horrible Service- The manager Joanne is an absolute horrible person with no regard to the way she speaks to customers. I live in a new development and my address does not populate, so I use the address of the actual development and then clearly write my actual address, along with instructions on how to get there, AND my phone number in the ‘delivery instructions’ line. My order was canceled with no notification, and I was told “that’s not how this works” by Joanne. Actually she was screaming this in the background while an employee attempted to actually help.
Very disappointing and a horrible, horrible representation of the Papa John’s brand.

Two stars only because the employees I interacted with at the store were professional. When I got home with my carryout order, however, this is a zero star.

Papa John’s has gone incredibly downhill. Their sauce is watered down and bland, and whoever cut the square cut I ordered might as well have been completely blind. There were random trapezoid and little triangle shapes because they screwed up and started slicing it regular, then switched to square and just butchered it. No flavor in this thing at all.

Definitely last time ordering from any Papa John’s for me.

Constantly late, incompetent manager, and will blame any issues on Doordash/ other services they use that is not their own.

I remember I placed an order one time and 30 minutes later the manager called and said everyone working was going to be late and the earliest the food would be ready was 1.5 hours.

Use the store on Beach Blvd if you are in the beaches. No way possible it could be worse.

Perhaps the worst pizza I've had the misfortune of trying. The delivery took over an hour, they messed my order brought the wrong pizza which I went along just to be nice, but it was soft and inedible. Will never make the mistake of ordering from this lousy place.

Absolutely the rudest service I have ever received. My order Had not even been started and I said are you serious and the guy threatens to call the police. I can’t even believe this happened. I was totally calm and he threatened to fight me. They need to fire this lunatic.

It was the 1st time I ordered online with my bank card. After an hour & a half, I called to check on pizza. They have no order for me. I checked my bank card- minus $23! I'll never order here again!

Stay away from this location. Extremely sloppy. Poor customer service. Delivered wrong pizza and then. The driver even tried to take back the pizza he already had in my home. I said you can’t take it back it’s cross contamination he said well did you eat it yet I said it didn’t matter that’s disgusting. Called the manager and he asked to speak with her driver and I said for her to call him. The most ridiculous pizza delivery experience I have ever had.

Freaking fantastic! Had a rough night with everything else we had planned and Papa John's came through. Delivery time was crazy on account of the preseason foot ball game so we were driving by and called in our order for pick-up! They were fast and super friendly! Hardly waited for my food and it was amazing! They even gave me a free dipping sauce and extra pepperoncinis! Best Papa John's in Jacksonville!

Still waiting for my pizza an hour and a half later. I live 8 minutes away from the papa John's. I should have just walked.

Wonderful staff and service.full of integrity.if anything is slightly off they go out of their way and beyond to perfect it! Delicious.great place!

The food is delicious, however the delivery driver was rude and disrespectful. Gave him a $1 tip because I'm 17 trying to feed a 2 year old and he scribbled out the tip told me it was an insult and walked off. Rudest experience I've ever had. Highly disappointed

Made a small order for delivery today. Took almost 2 hours to get here and when it finally arrived the garlic knots were burnt and the pizza was burnt and lukewarm, practically cold. Not our first bad experience at this papa John's either and each time we make a complaint they do nothing to rectify the situation. Definitely won't be ordering from them again.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. First and very last time we give Papa Johns any money. Should have kept it local, but we wanted to try something different. No problem putting the order in, it took a little longer than we are used to, but it came. We ordered two pizzas and some cheesy bread. Opened the boxes and everything was burnt, not overcooked. Burnt. When I called to make them aware, the girl who answered the phone was completely rude. She said her name was Briana and she was the shift manager. Before I could even explain the entire situation she was talking over me with an attitude. She kept saying she was trying to help me out and said that she was going to send the driver to come pick up the pizzas. Its unfortunate that customer service is no longer a priority. I guess Papa made his money and could care less if we spend ours there. Lesson learned

This is the most horrible serviced Papa John's in the area. The staff is rude, the pizza is sloppy and the order is always wrong. This location needs a new manager and staff. Don't call 30 mins before they stop delivery because they will not answer the phone and will hang up on you if you finally got someone to answer. Very very poor service two thumbs down.

This is probably the worst pizza place in town, the manager is unprofessional and tried to argue with about a pizza they messed up! Instead of owning up and fixing the mistake he decided to tell me I had an attitude and not to call back or he would call the police. Over a messed up pizza order. The level of immaturity is unreal at this establishment
