My family was planning a closed casket until they see the wonderful job the funeral home did with my dad. Excellent!

My experience with Paradise Funeral Chapel, LLC was absolutely horrible. As a grieving family I have come across two of their most disrespectful, untrained and unprofessional personnel who lacked how to communicate with people or has the ability to provide an ounce of decency of customer services. I was disgusted especially how a pastor (Pastor Charles) employed by this funeral home demonstrated uncouth and poor judgement by make a disparaging statement towards me and failed to apologize after the owner addressed him on a previous comment. From the grooming standards of the decease to the preparation of the service this organization failed to deliver what was contractual agreed upon. I am only giving 1 star because a few staff members intervened to try and make things right. However, I would never recommend Paradise Funeral Chapel LLC not even to my worst enemy.

Unfortunately I had to bury my Mother a week ago Oct 1st and I am glad my Dad chose Paradise Funeral Home. If you are looking for a traditional Haitian Funeral please consider Paradise. Pastor Charles the co-owner was so kind, patient, and professional. During the funeral Paradise kept things in order and if my family had any concerns with any details regarding the funeral, they fixed it right away. My mother had a beautiful funeral. It was everything she would have wanted for her funeral. I miss my Mother terribly but I am thankful for Paradise for giving my Mother a funeral that she deserve.

I want to thank you for helping me send my love one away. Sternly was a tremendous help to our family and accommodated All of our concerns and request. Thank you Sternly for helping my family and I during this difficult time. Thank you for being patient and understanding! You are a great person and will be blessed! You are an asset to Paradise Funeral!

They are unprofessional there. I am disappointed. Those people bring More grief to my family than the death of My Beloved Father. Lack of discrétion, total disrespect toward the widow of My Father. They keep changing their words. They are not coherent at all.

Mr. DORVAL needs a professional staff but not those greedy for money, that trying to manipulate customers to get money on a side.
I won't ever make that mistake again, buying disappointment.
The place is impressive, but the attitude negative of some sleekers there makes it hell.

Please save time and the headache. Pastor Louiguet Charles did nothing but lie to us regarding several major things. One about the package that we selected (won’t dabble into this because Monica was nice enough to correct it) and another being that if we go through the third party we won’t be charged interest since my father has life insurance. He assured me that there would be no interest charged through the third party, it’s something that is done all the time, and explained that once they submitted the necessary paperwork, they’d (the insurance company) send the check to the funeral home and they’d take their portion and we would receive our refund. Everything was supposedly taken care of the first week of January. Fast forward I receive a letter from the insurance company 1/28/22 requesting all the documents and information that was supposedly faxed over to them the first week of January. I went there today to get things corrected and was belittled by a women stating that I’m educated and I should know that if I go through a third party interest charges will occur. Although a pastor—someone who should be faithful, honest and true—told me more than three times (that’s how many times I asked him for confirmation) that no interest charges would be incurred. Needless to say, I will be calling Monday to see if I can get the interest charges incurred deducted from the cost of the funeral. Hopefully, I won’t have to get my attorney involved. Wish me luck. Will update you guys.

Update: The owner of the place was wonderful and corrected the wrong. My suggestion is to deal with him directly if possible

My experience with paradise was the five star experience. I appreciate the service and the way the staff preformed and care for the visitors. The CEO Herby Dorval is one of the best people I know and placed people above money. If you keep your service like this people will appreciate and recognize your work. I would have given this place a negative number below 0 if I was able to. They were super unorganized! My family requested that they present a slideshow during the funeral that we created. They said they were going to show it and never did! Then, we sent and picked out a few pictures for the pamphlets and they chose the worst pictures from the slideshow. They did not imprint the ones that we picked. It was as if they wanted to purposely ruin the funeral service. I wish I had a time machine. Never again! Everything was a complete MESS! It was sooo embarrassing the way things went.

The place is fairly new and clean. Everything was done on time. The only thing was that they were so unsympathetic. Except the lady Karla went out of her way to help us out, even in the pooring rain she was standing with us.

I am extremely disappointed in this funeral home. They were very unorganized and UNPROFESSIONAL! Let me say it again unprofessional! I gave them my own version of a biography. Then, they decided to twist the words of the biography. I found that out the day of the funeral, causing the assigned person who was supposed to read it, unable to read it. This made a lot of confusion during the service. They also misspelled multiple names that was on the pamphlet. It was all rushed. They also did not give instructions to the attendees on what to do to follow the following cars with blinkers or anything. Overall, not good.

I wish I could rate 0 the worst funeral home ever.they don't follow directions all they care about is money.

This is a mix review for me because the day of funeral service Paradise Funeral did a good job with my love one and services provided.

On the other hand no one picks up the phones and no one knows what is going on. I had to drive to location many times to get information on my love one. The Funeral home called me for a meeting and told me to be there in 30 minutes on the same day.

In regards Customer Service it was terrible after plenty of running around and waiting for an hour or more to be assisted by someone on numerous occasion. I asked to speak to owner the owner came out and told me to wait, so he can assist me.after 30 minutes of waiting I asked front desk agent to follow up with him and she reported he left for the day at 2pm in the afternoon.

Overall beware and I will not be using their services again.

I wanted to thank paradise funeral home for giving my father a nice funeral this past weekend. Everything went well. We worried about nothing because everything was taken care of. They were helpful every step of the way and it was a delight to work with them through this difficult time. Herby and Dominique were more than helpful with everything. I appreciate it.
