Parkland Animal Clinic reviews
19Doctor Sands is fantastic. Very nice interaction with me concerning Penn Dragon, my little Australian shepherd. My puppy loved him.
The best Vet and staff ever! We love coming here. Always on top of it all. So dependable, affordable and truly cares about the patients. Love the front staff!
Dr. Sands and his staff are absolutely AMAZING they have gone above and beyond for our dogs and provide genuine care that every animal deserves. If I could give more stars I would his staff is just as friendly and kind as he is!
The best veterinarian you can ever imagine. We have been a patient of Dr. Sands for over five years. His staff is extremely personable and compassionate, and he is nothing shy of amazing in every way his bedside manner is what you wish every doctor had.most importantly money is not his first priority, Your animal is! I can go on and on about how amazing Dr. Sands is and his staff but why don’t you find out yourself by visiting Parkland animal clinic & big bear pet Lodge and see for yourself you won’t regret it
Dr. Sands & staff is wonderful I have a 16 year old Golden mix, & a 4 yr old Golden. I cannot recommend him enough!
I can't thank Dr. Sands and the wonderful staff at Parkland Animal clinic enough! Dr. Sands is a great Vet who is personable and you can tell he genuinely cares for the animals. Exceptionally clean office and very friendly staff! I highly recommend Parkland Animal Clinic.
Amazing service. I called for an appointment and they were able to immediately get us in with the vet of our choosing. Super caring, very informative…the best experience you could ask for. Thank you Parkland Animal Clinic!
This was my first visit to Parkland Animal Clinic. I was extremely impressed with the office, the staff and Dr. Sands. Dr. Sands met with me and Georgey and discussed his issues thoroughly. I left with a plan and I am very excited to get Georgey on a feel good path. We found a new vet!
Dr Sands and his staff are amazing. Always so friendly and caring. Will never go to another vet.
Since moving to Parkland in 2017 Dr. Sands and his amazing staff have been caring for our four legged family members. They have seen us through the painful struggles end of life brings and are currently helping us navigate raising our young german shepherd. They even made accommodations at Big Bear Pet Lodge for our guinea pig when we needed it! I love that they know my name and who my pets are when I call. I am grateful for their dedication to my animals. If you are looking for a great veterinarian, look no further!
Sulley absolutely loves it here! He's never looked forward to going to the vet before but he loves all of the staff including Robyn & Dr. Sands. Boarding is top of the line for senior pups as well. They send daily photos and updates and can accommodate any special needs your baby may have - they even give them a complimentary bath on the last day of their stay.
Dr. Sands and company have been amazing! First time dog owner and my family and I had so many concerns. Dr. Sands put all our worries at ease with his care and knowledge! Robin at the front desk has been wonderful in helping us take care of our new family addition! Highly recommend!
Dr Sands and his staff are amazing. They are Caring and always trying to help. I want to thank them for helping Avatar with his arthritis. Thankful for the treatments that has helped him gain mobility again.
What an outstanding place and Doctor! As Pet parents we always want the best for our babies and that’s what we found at Parkland Animal Clinic with Dr Jeffrey Sands and his team.
After coming from a terrible experience at a place called (Pet Emergency Center in Fort Lauderdale) we found Parkland Animal Clinic. What a blessing! We were greeted by Mrs Robin, she was very kind and friendly. She dedicated her time listening to all of our concerns. Dr Jeffrey was very attentive to our dog and was able to get to the root of the problem! Absolutely amazing, reliable and knowledgeable Doctor!
From the moment we entered to the moment we walked out we felt the love and transparency we had hoped for our pets. We won’t go anywhere else when it comes to our dogs care.
Thank you so much Dr Jefferey and his team you are amazing! God bless you guys!
They were so helpful with a health certificate for our dog that we needed last minute so he can fly with us out of the country.
The staff is friendly and professional.
We moved to this area about a year ago and after inquiring on our Facebook community page found many recommendations for Parkland Animal Clinic and Dr. Sands. We have nothing but great things to say about them. They're always so friendly and open to help our dog in anyway that they can. Our dog is a nervous dog but they try to accommodate her as best they can when we stop in for a visit with Dr. Sands or to stay at the kennel. They're a great business to have so close to home.
Dr. Sands still has it¡. We see since process not over. Unfortunately money is scarce but Sophie is secured, thañks doc!
Great experience. Everyone was super friendly and were gentle and patient with our dog, who is extremely timid. Highly recommend them.
I have a 13 year old lab mix who has always stayed with my mother when I'm out of town. Unfortunately for the July 4th weekend she wasn't available so I booked at Big Bear Pet Lodge after receiving several positive endorsements via FB. They do have great reviews online. I had a nice tour and even had a pleasant check-in experience. They asked what meds my dog took, the frequency, her feeding habits, and I was reassured my girl would be fine and they would send multiple texts and photo updates daily so we knew she was ok. I dropped her off on Friday afternoon and picked her up Tuesday afternoon. I traveled about 20 mins east to BOCA RATON, not a remote destination with crummy cell service. Boca. In the 4 days she was there I didn't receive a single call or text from them with updates. I called multiple times throughout the weekend and left voicemails requesting a call back with an update. Nothing. It wasn't until Tuesday morning (my day of pickup, 4 mornings later) that someone answered the phone. The reception, Robin, was mortified and reassured my dog was OK and ready to be picked up. I arrived about 15 mins later to several apologies and excuses. I completely understand that it's a holiday weekend and a skeleton crew may have been working, but to not hear anything? I was then shown TWO photos of my girl on a tablet that the facility took throughout her entire 5 day, 4 night stay. Two photos? Seems like those could have been taken in the 15 mins I was driving there to get her. Then, I left only to realize they never gave me the extra prescription meds back I packed for my dog. So I went back.
Once home, my dog inhaled 2 full bowls of water. It was as if she hadn't had water in a day. Then, while unpacking I realized that I sent 10 pills with her to the facility knowing she would only use 4 and would bring home 6 as extra (wanted to send extra in case of an emergency). I came home to find out they only gave her the arthritis prescription meds HALF of the mornings she was there. Two pills were gone, bot four. My baby was limping in pain when I brought her home. Thank GOD it wasn't a life-saving med or my dog would be dead. I have no clue what happened with the care of my girl but I would never board dog there again and have deterred others from going there too.
