Parrish Medical Center: Emergency Room, Titusville FL

Unprofessional staff after hours in a waiting room curled up in pain I ended up leaving without being seen. I’ll go to another ER before I ever come back here

I came into the ER at 7: 00 pm and sat in the waiting room for 9 hours. I finally made it to the back and have been in a room for over 40 minutes and have not even seen a nurse. I will never come back to the hospital.

I came here to get blood drawn. I came yesterday to discover the process. A small black haired woman was terse and not going to help she made very apparent. Why she had a bad attitude is anyones gues. So I show up today and stand at the sign where it said to wait. This same woman ignored me for at least a few minutes. Meanwhile two people came in behind me signed a clipboard and sat. Finally she acted like she just noticed me and said "Can I help you". I did not say a word I simply handed her my paperwork. She looked at it and said " sign the clipboard and wait to be called. " Now the two people coming in after me now were ahead of me. About an additional half hour wait. Why she made it a challenge for me two days in a row is I suspect she has male issues. You see I live 17 miles from this blood testing place so she being totally inappropriate 2 days in a row is definitely who she is. Leaves me hesitant to continue here but definitely never coming back.

Did not take concerns seriously. 34 weeks pregnant and did not send me to see an ob or even check on baby when I went in for high blood pressure, shortness of breath, and lower back pain. Went straight to cape Canaveral er after and they sent me to the hospital to check on baby and was so shocked to hear they didn’t even check baby at parrish. Switching doctors and will never be back to parrish!
Male doctor also barged in while nurse had me shirtless getting an EKG and didn’t apologize or seem to care at all. Super disrespectful.

Came in with chest pains, they took me back right away. All the staff was attentive and the Doctor was very thorough

The worst hospital emergency room I have ever been to. Waited for hours to get the results of my x-ray. Then hours later I have discharge paperwork and two prescriptions. The doctor never gave me his comments on my x-ray until I asked him. I was told then it wasn't time yet for me to leave because he never even looked at my x-rays. I told two people I was in horrible pain. They never brought me anything for hours, until I leave. "Motrin" At this point I am crying in pain. I will never go here again. I miss Tallahassee where the hospitals take care of their patients and take their patients seriously.

The staff that I dealt with today was amazing and very friendly. But it is ridiculous that you have to wait hours for someone to tell you your results. Mind you I have been there since 9: 30 in the morning. I understand emergencies happen and some people have priority but it is ridiculous that I have seeing people come in after me and leave before me

Brought my son in with history of seizures, he had a fever of 104.9 and they said an 11 hour wait with only 3 people in the waiting room. This hospital is nothing but a worthless joke

This review has less to do with the physical emergency room staff and more to do with how unbelievably horrendous Parrish Medical Center billing department is. I would not recommend going to Parrish just for this reason. They billed my insurance company multiple times for the same visit and are now trying to get me to pay them as well. I have tried to get this straight out for months and called several times and just get told it will get looked into. 0/10

I would leave no stars, but that is not an option. Like many said, they triage quickly, get bloodwork and catscans done quickly and in a friendly manner. Now I've been sitting here for 7 hours waiting in the waiting room with others that have been waiting 12 hours just for some results or a bed to "open up". All staff in the front ignores us. Terrible.experience.i
