Pasco County Tax Collector's Office at Gulf Harbors, New Port Richey FL

Went to this DMV for tag/title/registration for a vehicle I just bought. I was helped by Sage. It was the worst service I ever received. He was rude and unprofessional. I will not be visiting this location again. If you do, tell Sage I said hi.

I have made several attempts to visit the Pasco County Tax Collector’s office on different days and at different times. The line has been consistently across the front of the building and turns to the east going down the side of the building. As a disabled person standing in line for hours is not easy (to say the least) AND, in case you haven’t heard, there is a pandemic going on. I find these circumstances to be ridiculous and entirely unacceptable.

UPDATE 1 Star to 5 Stars:
I returned today. Line was across the front of the building but appeared to be moving nicely. The entrance staff noticed me, my walker and the apparent mobility issues I have. They allowed me inside to be able to sit during my wait time. I REALLY appreciate this! As an admitted pandemic phobic person I found a quiet corner and waited my turn. Waiting is fine and yes it took over an hour but the crew was doing their best. Overhearing a few of the staff was quite interesting as there is an apparent focus on customer service and a degree of compassion for the circumstances of the people flowing through.

RYAN was extremely helpful! He took care of matters very efficiently and had me on my way before I encountered the physical pain issues from standing for extended periods of time.

I apologize for the initial 1-star rating. It was based more on my personal circumstances than on the Office and their staff.

Very good and helpful to older people because there was a line and let me go in.my age is 80 and have back trouble

Super rude, lisa impressively holds her job. Eventhough she has to ask anyone else for an answer to anything. Ps she smells like feet!

Lines weren’t so bad For as many people that were waiting ahead of us when we got there it went really quick.

How is it possible to segragate/discriminate to only service Pasco County. I don't feel this to be ethical at all. They fail to inform you of this and it is not posted at the location or their web sight, so you will drive from another county wait for services then when it is all said and done is when you are informed. The is exceedingly poor business practices on their part. I will be looking into how to report this.

It's a alright dmv depending on who you get i notice some of females stereotype me a lot the younger females don't but the older pple to since I'm young with tats and own my car there like omg how do u own ur car at ur age do This do that ect it really gets annoying otherwise it's pretty good.

Driving all the way down to get a car registered on a Saturday as we have before because tarpon springs dmv is no longer open. Only to find out they "service pasco county residents only on saturday". That's completely ridiculous when we have work Monday through Friday 8-5 and cant take off work. I will be sure to never recommend this location to anyone and inform everyone on how they work.

Extremely rude staff here. Renewed my registration, and decal they gave me had paper stuck all over the back and it will not stick to my plate. Complete idiots

Hard to say I like going to the dmv but for what it is they are excellent. My birthday is in May so I usually never have a wait. My wife's in January, during snow bird season, so we have a much longer wait. But the staff is courteous and kind and will go out of their way to help. Think of a stereotypical DMV employee and reverse it.

To transfer my license from Ohio. I was told I needed all originals from my birth certificate to my marriage licenses.my sister moved down last year and all she had to show was her Ohio license!

I'm originally from Greenport, Long Island and if you've ever had to go to the DMV in Riverhead, this place is a Dream to get things done. Sometimes you wait, only for a short while, but, in N. Y, its hours. Thank You for YOUR service!

Best DMV I've ever been to. Had some issues trading in my car was in and out of there 4 times in one day. Great service.

Was open on a Saturday, which was great! It was extraordinarily busy, but they moved along very quickly. When it was our turn, we were helped in a fast, friendly, and professional manner. Couldn't ask for more.

Complete perfection. Rapid, organized, well trained employees. I love the new concealed weapons permit office as well. 20 minutes to renew on a Wednesday. So convenient!
No way this is run by the government being so efficient and accurate. Bravo

As said in other reviews the DMV in florida are so much better and quicker than the ones in NY. They also provide other services such as fingerprinting and concealed weapons permits. Highly recommended.

Not informed! Had to drive all the way to Hillsborough for something they said where not authorized to do. Extremely rude people and supervisor. Not welcoming at ALL! Hope I never have to go there ever again!
