I went with my elderly Mom for her follow up appointment with Dr Patel. By far the best Dr I’ve seen in a long time. He took time to explain things and was very personable. The nurse was super sweet and so were the front office girls. I see a lot about the office on the reviews, but they were nice and I can’t imagine what they have to deal with talking to insurance and being very busy checking people in etc.great office and staff!

Staff very rude and incompetent. I ended up in the emergency room because of them. They never sent a request to my insurance co. Three times In 3 weeks I was scheduled for a colon and Endo but was refused after taking all that med three times. My heart rate dropped to 28 beats. They need to all be fired. Also witnessed their abuse to elderly patients. ONE star to much. I don't think Dr Patel even knows what is going on

My son was deathly ill. He was seeing this Doctor for a couple months. My sons wife had a disagreement with the Office lady. My son needed a medication that takes months for approval n he'd lost 40 lbs from being sick. The Doctor told my very sick son to find another Doctor knowing it would start the process all over. The personal there are very unprofessional n that's why their rating is so low. DONT GO THERE!

I need to see a GI. I made my 1st appt more then a month out back in July. Its the week of the appt and I called Dr. Satish office to confirm no issues and they have to cancel and reschedule me out more then a month for my 1st appt. They had no options. Useless DR! If I could give less then a 1 I would. If I die its on you.

Dr. Patel performed a colonoscopy & endoscopy on me on 8/7/23. Prior to my procedures, I had a routine screening by Dr. Patel. It was my first visit. The office staff was very efficient & professional as was the nursing staff. Dr. Patel was extremely polite, welcoming, & easy to talk to. I felt completely comfortable asking questions about my upcoming procedures. He took the time to answer each question thoroughly. He made me feel at ease & eliminated my anxiety. I felt as though I was speaking to a family member. My visit with him was not rushed, on the contrary, he took as much time as he needed to reassure me about every detail. The office staff was helpful in advising me what I needed to buy for my colonoscopy prep. Today I had my follow-up.
Dr. Patel reviewed my colonoscopy & endoscopy results thoroughly.
He made me feel like a friend & not just another patient. The office staff was also very polite. I appreciated the care taken to keep patients safe by requiring masks in the building as Covid is still out there.
I highly recommend Dr. Patel & Staff.

Really surprised at the awful customer service.i am glad they refused to treat me.kept interrupting me saying "THE DOCTOR SAID NO! " just wanted to set up an appointment as a new patient.refused due to my living situation.im homeless due to hurricane ian and received no compassion quite the opposite.very rude.staff should pick a new career.

Extremely rude staff.simply tried setting up a new patient appointment.they refused service bc of my living situation.homeless due to the hurricane.no sympathy.cut me off every time i tried to explain.hung up and called me rude.disgusting customer service.i dont know if this lady was having a bad day or she just always is a C U Next Tuesday.

I now see why you have 2.5 stars. Absolutely rudest office I’ve ever called. Nasty, unprofessional… don’t go here. Don’t even call. Disgusted by the receptionist attitude. Should be fired. Who speaks to patients like that! Kept cutting me off day NO, twisted my words… appalled by the customer service. Refused service because I live far.

Dr Patel and his office spent endless hours to make sure I was attended to. I have Crohn's disease and was in pain. Sometimes it can take yrs before you can truly find a good Dr and staff like this. So thankful

This place is disgusting the front desk lady is extremely rude I’m in a wheelchair I took off work to be told well there is a problem I can reschedule you for three more week unprofessional I would give it a half star if I could you should go to dr vangara boycott satish patel more like satin patel

Office staff is incompetent and rude. I called stating I had a referral to be seen and the name of my insurance to placed on hold for 5 mins to be told we accept your insurance can only see you if u have a referral. (Which I stated initially). Then I try to move past that restating that I have a referral for the office. Then the receptionist is saying my old Gi should have someone taking over. Again I explain he’s retiring and closing the practice no one is taking it over. To again be placed on hold.
Then she asked what I need to be seen for I explain my condition and what my old Gi said I needed to tell my new Gi. For her to continue to be rude saying I can only put what’s on ur referral.so I tell her my current diagnosis on my referral. Agin try to continue to make an appointment. For her to tell me she has no ideas how long an initial appointment lasts. (I need this information to schedule an appointment because I have children to pick up from school) for her to say she doesn’t know.

I’ve worked in medical offices. Tell me how you scheduled appointments not knowing their approximate duration? U can’t.so
I try again okay how long are your patients in building usually? I don’t pay attention to that …
At that point I’m not coming to this office. And I told her that clearly they need to get it together.
I already called my primary and got a different Gi referral to a different practice.
Maybe the doctor is amazing I’ll never know.
But he definitely needs better trained staff.

It’s important to know; what insurance your provider takes, what your scheduling blocks mean time wise, and to understand what to say and do when someone calls to make a new patient appointment. With out putting then on hold 3 separate times and sounding disrespectful on the phone and arguing with a new patient.

Front office staff was extremely rude and condescending. I should have taken that as my first red flag and walked out. Dr. Patel was terrible and was told by him to “stop eating” outraged that he is still able to practice. I’m sure this isn’t the first time he has made comments like this to someone. If you want the worst experience of your life, I recommend making an appointment here. Disgusted with both staff and doctor.
