4 I am a new patient of Dr Chomiak, checking on a lung nodule, which is scary. I am in my 70’s so therefore have seen quite a few doctors over the years, including good ones, but have never experienced one with the gift of easing someones anxiety or making you feel like you have known him for years and that will take whatever time needed to do this and answer your questions. I knew with his training, expertise and experience in minimally invasive procedures, he was the doctor I wanted but to get that, and a caring, great personality, and one of the best in his field, was an answer to my prayers!
Sarasota is very fortunate to have him.
Dr. Is one of the best out there. He took great care of me! Not only a great surgeon, He actually cares and explains it very well to a patient. Just a all-around good guy.
Successfully treated my husband robotically for lung cancer - doctor Chomiak was one of the most caring and brilliant doctors I have met. From the first visit, through the surgery and with the follow ups he was informative and put us at ease in dealing with this cancer. We certainly would recommend him and Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
For a physician who is obviously so busy, he takes time to show and tell in a way patients will understand. I never felt rushed or that our questions weren’t taken sincerely. Obviously a very talented and bright physician who knows how to find answers.
