Paul's Kitchen reviews
20Our breakfast was fresh. The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. I'm from South Carolina, but I visit Paul's restaurant every time I visit Wauchula. I'll be back.
Update:
The restaurant does not respect the hours they have posted. You better be inside at 1pm because they will not let anyone in at 1: 30pm
They just let you stand at the door and ignore you.
Sorry John.
Small little restaurant, good food and good service.
Hamburger ok. Ordered a 6.99 fried veggie platter, pointed to the one I wanted as well as said "not" that one. I was still charged for the one I didn't want. ️ Cashier on a personal phone call barely stopped to cash us out. Place has potential.
Worst experience! Food wasn't as described on the menu, waitress was not knowledgeable about menu. $7 for a side of fried okra! Won't be back
Thoroughly enjoyed our food, and the service was great. Disappointed that they didn’t have our favorite stuffed fish meal, but such are the time we’re in.
Coffee in a styrofoam cup potatoes and chopped instead of good home fries and no personality from waitresses that I saw worst breakfast I ever had.
Delicious food. I had the Farmer's skillet. Everything was perfect. The service is great. Very polite. Price can't be beat. This is our favorite breakfast place.
They must have gotten a new cook or something because the third time I went there the food was actually good. I really didn't want to go but they happen to be one of the few places open locally in town on a Tuesday.
Great people both employees and customers that's a great combination, enjoying food and company, food is always great and good portion. Love stopping there, see you soon
Quaint little diner with good prices and great service. The food was way better than you would expect for the price. We came in in a group of 21 in our server did not miss a beat. She handled us proficiently and professionally. Highly recommended
We visit this area for the past few years and always enjoy our meals here. The chicken is great and service is attentive
Just a great local place for a meal.and that is what earns it 5 stars.
Omg! Another new restaurant in town. Excellent breakfast delicious ham, poached eggs where perfection and rye toast perfect.
A different new favorite of ours.
A must try. Very clean, friendly, & efficient staff who showed Great team work.
I went to Paul's for breakfast late last week. One of the employees greeted me and asked me to wait to each be seated. Once this was accomplished the waitress gave me a menu and took my drink order. And in an instant, she was back with my drink and took my order. I ate the full order of sausage gravy and biscuits. Overall I would give them two thumbs up! The service was good. The food was above average. And the waitress was easy on my eyes. I can't wait to go try a good old fashion hamburger and fries. Wonder if I will luck out and get the same waitress? Tell you about my next visit as soon as it happens.
We arrived 2 minutes too late for breakfast. Not their fault but kind of busted our whole purpose for going there. Had sandwiches which were good. But they need to change oil on their fries more often.
Great breakfast spot! Friendly folk, good food.if your not local it's worth the drive hands down the best small town lunch spot I've eaten in so far!
This place is worth the drive!
Food is good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. As our server said, if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. You don't see America from the interstate, so if you take I-75 from Ft Meyers to Orlando, not only is it longer, but you'd completely miss Paul's Kitchen.
We have not been here since 2015, everything was closed down so we gave it a chance. Im so glad we did! Our waitress Liz was very helpful and tentative. The food was out of this world! Its been under new management for a little bit but this is the first time we have been back. We got the trio sampler, steak salad (beyond good), kids spaghetti, kids wings, bacon burger. It all came with soup (sunday is chicken noodle. I don't like chicken noodle soup but this honestly soup was great!) And they brought a dessert (bread pudding) but my daughter it lactose intolerant so we declined. Please give this place another try. It will be worth it.and all for right under $50! Awsome place for a nice family dinner!
Was with another couple, restaurant we chose was closed for vacation. We found this gem on a side road. They have a faithful following, they have amazingly good food and portions that you think should match the cost of dish. They give you more for your money. I will definitely go again. Very much enjoyed this restaurant, their staff and their food and especially the quality & quantity for the cost.
Absolutely Delicious! I had the Country Fried Steak.large portion and great value. If you are traveling through, check out the menu... If you see something you like I'd definitely stop and partake.
Convenient little place. Staff is usually friendly. Although I've had to send my food back a couple of times, it's still pretty good.
