Paws Required, Port St. Lucie FL

So grateful to have the business so close to home now. We have an amazing staff that is loyal and dedicated to serving our furry friends both past and future.

When I saw them open near my house, I decided to stop in one day with my 10 month old, very hyper and skittish Pomeranian. Within 10 minutes, he wasn't nervous and Catherine won me over. I made an appointment to have him groomed the following week. They do not crate the dogs. And all of the pups are so content, they happily play together. They treat the animals as their own. She took her time with him knowing he's young and scared. She did a fantastic job. And listened to what I wanted. He will be going there for regular maintenance now. Highly recommended them to my friends. So I wanted to add my opinion to the world of internet reviews as well.

Absolutely loved the grooming and care given to my dog. Will be glong to them again and will recommend to all my friends! Great people and service!

If there was a Zero Star, I would choose it! Drove a long distance to get my cat’s first grooming. 4 hours later, my cat wasn’t groomed and to make matters worse, he was left in his carrier for 4 hours. No one had the decency, the common sense or humanity to take him out and give him water or let him relieve himself. We didn’t even get a phone call within the 4 hours either. I walked In to see what the status was of my cat being groomed. I was being nice and giving her AMPLE time, heck more than ample time and to find your pet still sitting in the same place you left him is upsetting. Offering a free service for the next visit cannot and does not make up for the unprofessionalism that occurred today! Did you really think there would be a next time. I have no words! Needless to say, we will NEVER use this facility. Off to find another place.

Thank you for the wonderful job you did with grooming Abbey. She looks like a puppy again. It helped my so much that you picked her up and dropped her off. And I appreciate you taking time to clip my cat Fluffy's nails. Abbey looks forward to her visit again in 4 weeks.

This was the first time taking my "buddy" to the groomer. And I was very nervous, but he walked right in and walked out looking VERY HANDSOME. Every one there was so nice and you can tell they love your pets as much you do. I am so happy to have find them.

Midnight & Cinderella love going to see Miss Catherine & Megan. We have been a customer since Paws Required opened 2 years ago and have always been happy.

I couldn't find a place to add a new review so I will add to the original. My three dogs love going to the Groomer. Catherine takes her time listens to the customer and pays attention to the dog's needs. We have been going to Paws Required since it opened and truly find the service to be outstanding. We recently adopted a Miniature Poodle that came from a home with little or no attention. Tiffany realizing that he was uncomfortable took him off the table so that he could run around and relax while she did Midnight.
When Midnight was about 75% done Howie (the new member of the family) began asking for attention. She put him on the table and continued working with Midnight. She just turned to Howie leaving Midnight there and began working on him. He was cooperative and you could tell he was secure because his buddy was sitting there with him. There is a lot more to grooming than bathing, blow drying and mowing, and you will find it at Paws Required. Thanks for all you do.

These people are wonderful and filed/trimmed my little squirmy boys nails that needed it badly! Thank you so much.would definitely recommend this place for your pup!

Brought my great dane Echo here and I was very impressed, price is very reasonable and very very pleased with the services. I will also be using for boarding in the near future as I know my babies will be in great hands!

We went to Paws Required for grooming my Maltese and Mini Goldendoodle as well as for boarding while we were away for five days. Katherine put me at ease immediately upon our initial phone call. Her rates are very reasonable. She explained that my pups would be brought to her home. I had questions about her home, other pets and other people etc. Katherine was very open and patient with my numerous questions. Again I was confident my pups would be well taken care of and would be treated well. Katherine kept us in the loop with texts and pictures while we were away and the pups settled in. Our travels were delayed and Katherine was a champ making a very stressful situation no big deal. We arranged for the pups to stay one more night. The next day we picked up our babies, they were freshly groomed and happy. They looked fantastic and you could tell from their expressions they were happy. I would strongly recommend Paws Required for grooming and or boarding. Five stars!

Awesome place and people! Catherine boarded my 2 cats and took very good care of them. They returned home fat, happy and trauma free! All the animals in the shop are calm and seem stress free. Highly recommend!

I'm so satisfied with the quality of the grooming of my one year old Havanese that I can't express my joy with words! There are a couple groomers in the downtown area that I hope other people don't have to learn the hard way that I did, so in an effort to help you save time and money give Paws Required your first choice and have the best looking pet imaginable! They offer a unique mix of grooming options such as mini grooms and a variety of different soaps, shampoos and techniques that I think are tailor suited for many different people and their pets. I am just so thrilled to have finally found a groomer that is right for myself and my pet and I hope you don't have to try as many groomers as I have in order to find the one that works best for you!

Love it. My Bella loves it to. Bella doesn't like getting her nails cut. But she love the ladies.

I took my puppy to this place and when I picked her up she trembling and very scared. I don't know what they done to her but I will never take her back.

I won't take my Zainey anywhere else. I board her here every time I vacation and she even accepts my last minute planning. ️️️️

Owner was very nice and took Penny right away for her nails trimmed and even filed!
Very Reasonable and they do bathing and sitting also!
