Adam was our service tech, and he was beyond great! Went above and beyond to make sure it was not just fixed but explained what the problem and how to do better maintenance and spot small problems before they become bigger problems. I do have a maintenance contract with them, and I have not been let down yet. Adam set the bar a lot higher for the other already great techs that have given us service before. Thank you to all the techs that keep our most important system running here in Florida.

My central air stopped putting out cool air in August. Another AC repair company told me it was my compressor and wanted $7.000 for a new AC Unit. Which I didn't have. I'm a widow struggling on a small Social Security check. I called Payne and David came out and said it was my capacitor. After the Capacitor was put in it worked fine. Thank God for honest people. I tell everyone about my positive experience with Payne and how honest David was. I hope God watches over him.

I had Frank Gay services come out and boy oh boy. More like a sales pitch than wanting to fix my a/c. So I got Payne out here. They sent Greg out today and he was great. Very professional, quick (for a coil repair) and the price was literally half the price of Frank Gay Services. I will definitely use them period from now on. Thank you for my AC back. I had Derek from the Lakeland office out last week to take a look my air conditioner because of the noise it was making outside.
He ended up replacing a couple of screws that were missing to stop the rattling.
Derek was great. When he was done outside he came inside just to make sure everything was working properly.
As he was working he would explain to me what he was doing and would give me helpful tips on what I could do to help extend the life of the unit.
He was not only professional and polite but wanted to make sure all my questions and concerns were taken care of.
I would not hesitate to call them if I ever be need a service tech to come out.

Our A/C service inspection was done three days ago and the next day it broke down. A service rep came and got it going again with a capacitor. Today another service rep came. His name is Greg and he was very thorough. He replaced a disconnect box and put in a breaker. He checked the vents and redirected the airflow which seemed to have been incorrect from day one. Greg explained what he was doing as he went along. His goal was to ensure that we were comfortable and satisfied with how the unit was working. We appreciated his manner and his expertise. Good job, Greg!

If your new home is under warranty with Highland Homes and you find mold on your AC handler this is how Payne fixes it. The images without the dripping paint is the way it looked before they arrived. I'll be contacting a third party company for additional assistance.

This company customer service is horrible Monica diagnosed my a/c over the phone and advised me to just have anyone come out when they are the ones who installed my ac when my home was built in 2018. A joke!
