The place is beautiful. The customer service not so much. Walked in with a friend and the lady was on a personal call. We were standing there waiting for her to tend to us because she was preoccupied with her phone call. When another group came in she told them to sit and she would be right with them, right in our face. That pretty much sealed it for me and left a very bad taste in my mouth. I had to interrupt her to tell her the order I was waiting on which I did via pick up. I was excited to taste the food, I don’t know if it was an off day given the reviews of how good the food is but I ordered the griot with the rice and peas. The griot was dry and the rice and peas were salty. I thought the food would make up for my bad experience but it did not. Again the restaurant venue is very nice and I at least want to mention that part. I never like to leave bad customer reviews because that’s someone’s business reputation, but the lack of respect was astounding.

Food was great! I ordered stewed chicken and my husband stewed turkey. The turkey and chicken was so moist. Best stewed chicken and turkey we ever had. Our host Mary was also very attentive and nice. Definitely coming back.

Food is too salty. In addition Maggie djion djion was probably used to make rice looks like a strong dirty black color instead of using the real black Haitian djion djion. The salad and the piklies were ok. The service was good. We went to the one in Hollywood or around that area, the food was exquisitely tasty and appetizing. The price that was posted needs to be updated so people can be aware of the appropriate price for the selected dish to avoid the surprise. Thank you!

Some of the best haitian food I've had in a while, it's a ton of food a a great price. I'll definitely be making the drive up here to get more! Highly recommended

Food is good not great. They do have more assortment of Haitian food than the other Haitian restaurants.

I can’t go to Florida and not go here, it’s a must! Djon Djon is my favorite and they gets it right.

Good food and clean environment. Been a consistent customer for years, but since they opened their 2nd location, the Margate location hasn’t been top notch, but it’s okay.

Today I had the diri djon djon with the fried chicken. They gave me graten. The rice was hard that I couldn’t eat it anymore. I always order the diri djon djon, but today was not it. This is my first time tasting the rice like that.

Ordered spicy salmon it taste good but not spicy enough for me. The citadel drink taste good. The atmosphere was quite when my group dined because we came early. Marie our waiter did a good job

I like Ethan and pearl of the islands. I’ll give them a four-star. The customer service is very good They speak to you with respect. This is what I like to see in place of business.

It's most definitely a go. Everything was amazing and worth it. I had the red snapper with black rice and pasta salad. I will be returning.

LISTEN! I have orderd from this restaurant several times BUT whoever was in the kitchen cooking the food on Friday August 4th at dinner time needs an award because this was the BEST I ever had eating at Pearl. Don't get me wrong the food is good, but when I tell you whoever was in the kitchen on this day, seasoned the food to perfection. I will always come when they cook.

Great food and service. Only a lot of times some foods are very salty. Most of the times.the food is great. Advise to Chef: go easy on the salt

The ladies working at the front are fantastic. One of them even stopped to dance with me for a mn even if it was their closing time on a Saturday night…… No rush, no bad attitude, only big smile and positive vibe. …….
Real good energy, and tasteful fritay! What else can u ask for? Unfortunately I live far away. But I will always get my self some good food whenever I’m at south Florida. Keep the good job ladies!
