Pecan Park RV Resort reviews
20Easy in and out, and clean. Near the airport so can be noisy in the daytime, and near naval station so lots of navy jets doing their thing, which is fun to watch.
This campground is very clean with decent-size spaces and easy accommodation for late check ins. We’re happy customers.
If I just change my mind, I understand losing a deposit. But when my trip is canceled due to a hurricane, I think it is very poor business to not offer at least a partial refund. I have stayed at Sun Resorts before but no more. I had to cancel a reservation due to Covid last year and that Sun resort was great to work with. But they will not get me again.
I went with my mom and just to watch her go back and forth with one of the vendors was an experience of its own
Really clean park nice small house units new great to stay in with AC. Loft and large kitchen appliances.
Your web site is costing you business! Can't even "check availability" to make a reservation. I'm headed to the KOA in St Mary's Vs instead.
Stayed here one night on our way to Seminole. Extremely clean and well-kept, nice big pull-through sites, helpful and highly professional staff, and an outstanding dog park. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
Stopped here while traveling I95, called on a whim and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Had a pleasant experience here, very clean and easy to get to park. Only stayed one night and didn't use the facilities but all the sites were kept up. Highly recommended
It was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. The people around me were as I had come to expect. GREAT.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were immaculate. Sites were level with concrete slabs (I love that) I was able to create a wifi hotspot (love that too). We will definitely come back to this jewel when we are in the area again.

From the minute I walked in the staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and friendly. The park is nicely manicured. Clubhouse is great with amazing showers and bathrooms that are cleaned 4 times a day. The pool is beautiful along with a gorgeous catch and release lake. Everyone is super friendly. I have two school age kids and they love love it here. I’m SO GLAD We chose this place over Flamingo Lake. There’s no other place I’d rather be while I build /buy my forever home.
We enjoy this park and the staff is great. They go out of their way to make us comfortable. Everything is immaculately clean, the location is safe and convenient, WiFi works throughout the park, the sites are immaculate. The only thing that could make it better is shade. There is some airport noise, but that doesn’t bother us.
We really like this park as our winter home. Friendly and helpful staff
are great. Very clean and manicured. Beautiful landscaping and they are making even more improvements. Looking forward to winter.
Shopping is very convenient and it's so easy to get around Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Can't say enough good about our experience here.
Without the airport very close, it would be a 5 stars. New park, clean pool, and secure with clubhouse. Well-maintained grounds each pad is concrete.
Groceries nearby. Must control barking dogs left in RV unattended all day.day after day.
This place is amazing top notch beautiful lake beautiful pool beautiful clubhouse will maintain well-maintained grounds each pad is concrete you just can't go wrong here
My wife and I have been here for awhile now and we love it! The staff is great, helpful and friendly.
The dog park has just been remodeled and it is amazing much more space for dogs to run around freely and there is now two separate sections to keep dogs separated but with equal amounts of room to play.
Airplanes do fly over but not all day or during sleeping hrs definitely not as frequently as one might think.
One of the things I think is cool about this resort is that they are always planning different events from food trucks to pot lucks. We aren't the most social but we can appreciate the efforts made to bring the guests together from time to time.
We have walked to the flea market next to the resort a few times they have live music just about every weekend and decent food at the gator pond.
** If you do decide to stay remember to pull forward all the way to the stop sign when checking in**
Nice place to stay we have stayed before and I have some family staying there now. Enlarging it and it will have more spots and amenities
Great location and easy access to Hwy. Planes fly right over head for airport but after a few you get used to it. They are adding a lot of sites so right now there is a lot of construction going on on one side of the park. If I could make one recommendation it would be for trash service that comes around and picks up the trash. Other than that it was a great stay.
Construction everywhere. Usually there is a warning on websites letting you know there will be construction taking place during your stay. That was not the case. Construction, however, wasn’t the biggest issue. The biggest issue was, on Saturday morning, the construction woke us up at 5: 40 AM! When I went to the front office to complain, the office person could have cared less. There was no “I’m so sorry. ” Or anything. I let her know we were cutting our trip short by one day because we didn’t want to be woken up that early again and she said “okay. Which lot were you in? ” Being business owners ourselves, our business is built on customer service. You will not find that here. However, their bathrooms and showers are really nice.
How this place is called a resort is beyond me. Other than a pool and laundry, there’s nothing here. The sites are wide open and stacked like corn rows providing no privacy - and lack of trees means no shade. Then you have the international airport - you’re in the main flight path with consistent low flying jet traffic. Oh, then there’s the construction with heavy equipment starting at 7am and going until 7pm. Literally, THERE IS NO PEACE OR QUIET! We’ve endured this a few days only because it’s one of the few places in the area but if you can keep driving to another town, you’ll be much better off. We will NEVER be back!
