The Pentecostals of Deland truly changed my life for the better. 2018 I was broken beyond measure and rededicated my life to God. I wanted a church I could call home and God lead me to the Pentecostals of Deland in 2020. Since 2020 I was able to find refuge not only in God but also the leadership and saints who taught me sound biblical teaching that God used to mold my character and calling. If you’re looking for a place to heal while being safe in the process of healing. The Pentecostals of Deland will truly change the trajectory of your life for greater by showing you how to have a closer relationship with God.

Haven't been in a while, but when Pastor Hires preaches he shows up and shows out for the Holy Spirit. This church will invite you in and then you are family through God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit which is Trinity.

My family and I found a home church. We can feel the presence of God here. A place where you can comfortably raise your hands in the air and praise Him whole heartedly. It's a Blessing. Thank you P. O. D.

Pastor Hires is very welcoming. I got baptized by his brother Pastor Cliff this past Sunday and though it was exciting, I was a little nervous and Pastor Cliff walked me through everything from start to finish. I am very comfortable here and feel like I found my "home church. " The ladies of the church are all very nice and will comfort you in whatever you may need. I would give them 10+ stars if I could.

My family and I have loved this church for years! My father in law especially! He brought all of our friends and some family to attend. Dad, a veteran, WHO HAS FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY… attended church services, bible study classes, and was even BAPTIZED at this church. After Covid hit, he was terrified to go to crowded places, like church, and even the grocery store, because of his age, COPD, emphysema, and other illnesses and he was considered “high risk”. But he still would attend every once awhile against his better judgement. He may have not of been a rich man but I have witnessed him put his last $20 in the collection plate even though he was living on social security and wouldn’t get his check for another 2 weeks. Anyway, on his deathbed he asked his son and I to have his memorial at his church, which he considered to be the Pentecostals of Deland. To my shock, this church turned us down saying it is against policy because he was not an active member. SO TELL ME WHY ANOTHER CHURCH THAT HE HASNT ATTENDED IN OVER 5 YEARS DIDNT EVEN HESITATE TO HELP OUR FAMILY. Arise church said yes in a heart beat and asked for nothing in return. P. O. D. Disgusts me. They put on a good show, that’s for sure. Don’t worry, God sees y’all! I’m disgusted how my family was turned away by these people.
