Pet Supermarket, New Port Richey FL

This is my favorite pet store. Nichole is super smart and helpful. The store has all great people, is clean and organized. I go out of my way to shop here.

Went to find some meds for Dos our black kitten. The staff knew exactly what I was needing and let me know what and what not to do. Prices were very reasonable also.

Absolutely the best place for all you pets needs! The staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond for their customers.

Go there for all my pets needs the staff actually takes time if you don't know what you're looking for and works with you to get you the right products

Here's a new phase that must be the new craze. At least for this store. This is totally unexceptable behavior. On two separate occasions two different clerks were blowing their nose right in front of me! My parents taught me that is taboo and something that should be done in private. Thumbs down to those two ill mannered employees. Not only is it unsanitary but it's just also rude and gross. I would never do that in front of customers! Excuse yourself!

Pretty good variety of fish for a chain pet store, but they need more options for aquarium filters and plants. The dog stuff is really pricey but no different than any other chain. Always has great service when I do go though.

I just did a huge water change on my fish tank which holds over 30 fish, all are peacock cichlids. After doing my water change I noticed I didn’t have water conditioner which put my fish in jeopardy.so I drove to pet supplies plus which I arrived one min before closing. I understand it’s closing time but all I needed was 30 seconds. To save my fish from dying. Pet supplies plus didn’t care. They told me I’m not allowed in even tho it was before 7. I then jumped in my truck knowing pet supermarket has been closed now for 2 min. A sweet young lady saw me out front she came to my truck and asked what I needed, I told her the situation and she allowed me to come in grab what I needed to prevent my fish tank to go south. So not only saved me a lot of money from preventing the fish to die she also gained a regular customer to continue to use pet supermarket. I will drive the extra half mile down the road anytime then to go to the nearest pet store which is pet supplies plus. They lost me as a customer due to their service. I wish I knew the young lady who allowed me to go in and get what I needed she deserves her managers to give her recognition on great service. And deserves to have her name on this review! Thank you.

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. My go to spot for anything pet related.

Talked me into not buying fish just chemicals and other expenses things. Probably won't be back.

The staff are friendly, remember you when you go there, and you earn 5% on every dollar, so they will apply $5 or more when you want to use it, that easy and simple. None of that email and app nonsense Petco makes you do.

Stopped here since it was closer than the regular pet store I go to. Since this store is smaller than the large brand name pet stores, the dog food choices were limited so I had to settle for a different series of pro plan. The store was clean and the staff was friendly.

Love all the people that work here! They always support Pet Skunk Advocates and Rescue during their adoption weekends and love bring the skunks there. They especially love all the treats and love they get from everyone!

I took my dog Odie there to use the self serve dog wash… made giving him his bath so much easier. They provide shampoo, towels, hair dryer, and wash tubs that are a perfect height. I recommend this to for anyone. I have lower back issues and with my big boy this made bathing so much better for us both.

Nicole and all of the other employees at this store on 2/15/23 are extremely helpful (I would give names, but I can’t recall them)! When another store refused to accept a return or exchange, Nicole and her team helped get the issue squared away with no hesitation. Thank you, ladies! You’re wonderful!

I was treated like a thief and a liar! I purchased a new lid for my fish tank earlier in the week. While making the purchase the sales girl was very helpful and knowledgeable. She opened the box and explained how to set up the lid with the LED lights. Then she closed the box and, went to ring it up and dropped the box in the floor. The box didn't appear damaged and she did not seem concerned. I therefore didn't expect there to be a problem. I left the lid in the box as I installed the lights. It wasn't until I put the lid on the tank that I noticed a crack in the lid by the right hood hinge. I boxed the lid back up and took it back to the store today for an exchange. Rick (who waited on me) did a professional job with the exchange even opening the new lid box to make sure it was in perfect condition. However the girl who made the original sale was there and repeatedly stated to Rick (in front of me) "the crack wasn't there when I sold it to her. " I will not be returning to this store for future purchases.
