Friendly and professional employees willing to talk to you about caring for your pet or about the pets in store for sale: gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs/skinny pigs, birds (parakeets and more), and cats.

They had a really nice selection of bird toys and treats. Everything was easy to find, and the checkout process was easy. I would recommend this store for out-of-the-way specialty items for your pets.

We asked to apply to adopt a cat. They told us that someone had an application in already but I could leave my phone number in case they didn't pick him up. Later on I did get a call saying that the other applicant found a different cat elsewhere and wasn't coming to get this one. Within 20 minutes we were at the store and explained what happened and asked to put in our application. The girl pointed to someone standing at the cage and said they just came in to get him. Whether it was the original applicant or someone who got lucky in 15 minutes, the way it happened was quite unfair. Either let us put in an application from the start to be right behind the other, or give us a few minutes to actually get to the store after calling us. And if it was the original applicant picking up after they canceled, that's also not fair to others.

Well I ordered online, I was sent a message that my order was ready. I arrived and they sent someone back there just to come back up to let me know they didn't have the dog food. Mind you I spent a lot for a large bag of food and treats and they put a hold on my account for the amount for days. Person at front counter gave me the response that their inventory was off. If I didn't have enough money to buy at another store, what would I have done?
I won't be going their again.
I definitely had better service and help at PetSmart after I left Pet Supermarket.

The younger staff barely interact while the older staff are quite nice.

Was at Pet Supermarket to get fish for a large aquarium we had purchased elsewhere. Staff was knowledgeable and very helpful during our visit, regarding fish species that they sell and for general care.

Everyone is helpful and hard working. Always see people working on the animals or putting supplies on the shelf. It’s nice seeing the animals getting human interaction like they would at a home. Really helps the process in raising an animal. Really sucks to see some people tell half well more like 1/6th truths in comments or maybe they just have no idea how anything works as do most people. Don’t ever go looking for problems at a business when you go then only type negatives and only things that make YOU look good

Went there Monday night to get crickets for Bob my lizard. Walked in front door and noticed two people playing with a Farrett and one cheer leader. Turns out one was an employee. I saw the employee toss, yes toss the Ferrett like a bowling ball down the aisle toward the other "player". Slipping and sliding across the floor trying to maintain balance and footing. I honestly thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. The 2nd player coaxed the Ferrett down the aisle, picked it up and tossed it back. I proceeded to walk to the back of the store, trying to make sense of what I had just witnessed. My brain just couldn't seem to process it. As I stood in the back, waiting for someone, anyone to assist me with crickets. I finally asked my husband to go find help. He asked a girl cleaning fish tanks if anyone worked there. She promptly stated "yes" and went back to cleaning the tank. He then went up to the people bowling with the Ferrett. And was told they were out of crickets. Come to find out they were employees as well. They put the Farrett back in a cage as we were leaving. As soon as I got home I wrote to the store and in my letter told them if no action was taken, and a response back to me in writing about what they were going to do about it. I was going to post it on social media. Guess what? I will never set foot in that store again. Feel free to share this post, if you believe the employees were engaging in animal cruelty. I sure do. Not to mention customer no-service. Social media is a powerful tool, if this post does nothing else than bring awareness to the community, and convince people not to shop there, I have obtained my goal.

The place is clean and easy to find what you need. Also the staff is very helpful and polite. Also, the dog wash area is nice and easy to bathe your animals.

I love this place, because the employees love being there. They listen to ur stories about ur babies. They’re knowledgable. If one cant answer ur question? Another one can! Great w/ returns-exchanges. A bit pricey, but well stocked, so will have something to fit what ur looking for.

Employees are young and don't know anything about their store or products, there are never any buggys or baskets to put products to purchase in, Employees are always standing aroung talking, never greet customers, and when you ask for help they act like its killing them to stop talking and help, the private label I always purchase is always out of stock and stocked in the wrong position on the shelf, when I asked why the clerks responds was that is how corporate wanted them to stock their private label, makes no sense to do this, this store has gone down hill, I've started purchasing new product at the pet store across the street, Pet Supplies Plus great customer service, variety of products no rude employees and always in stock, this is were my business went too.

Visiting PC and needed some food for our furbaby. She is on a special diet due to sensitivity issues. The young man that helped us (can't remember his name) but he was quick to help us find a substitute for what we usually buy. The young lady at the check out was super sweet as well. I'd highly recommend this pet store. They seem to truly know what they're carrying and what to help customers with on such matters as this with our baby. Thank you Pet Supermarket.

The manager, a lady in her late 40s probably, was terrible. The way she talked to her employees was rude, unacceptable and embarrassing

Claire in the grooming department has been Suki Lou's groomer since she was 10 weeks. She is almost 19 months old now and just loves how attentive and caring the whole staff is.

Got a valentine friend for my yellow parakeet! They already get along so well and have not separated since we introduced them. Katie helped us pick out a boy and all of the staff were great help!
