Peter Pan Diner, Oakland Park FL

I really didn't care how server closed the cake display with her foot. Yes her foot big turn off for me. I was doing a pickup order. I will never eat here.

My partner and I have enjoyed Peter pan for years. 10/18/21 went in for dinner. Sam was our waitress. Sam was absolutely on her game! She is definitely an asset.

Peter Pan NEVER disappoints the food is ALWAYS amazing n delicious ALWAYS! Service is to be desired but I can overlook that for the food cause hands down one of the best places to eat in South Florida!

I called Peter Pan to place a food order approx 2 weeks ago. I was on hold for a good 10 minutes. There was an older lady who answered the phone. She placed me on hold because she was helping customers walking in. As I was waiting for approx. 10 minutes, someone hung up the phone. I called back but no answer.: (. Although I was a little annoyed and not feeling well, I really wanted to purchase some soup. My friend drove me there to get some soup. Well, when I arrived, a young lady at the podium asked if my friend and I would sit in the room on the right hand side which was very dark and in my honest opinion, didn't look clean compared to the bigger seating area. I insisted on sitting in the main restaurant. Customers were already there eating so i didn't think it would be a problem. The young lady insisted that we sat in the other room. Now I'm annoyed. I suggested that we order food to go. The lady at the podium said okay.lol. I was like wow. Why as a paying customer am I unable to sit in the main restaurant. We sat at the front waiting for waiter to take our order. We waited and waited. Finally, a nice waitress arrived and took our order. While waiting, I overheard a male waiter who was serving customers in the area where i did not want to sit cursing loudly. What was interesting is that he seemed to be cursing at the manager who was on the floor. LOL. I was thinking how can this experience get any worse. Approx. 3 minutes later, he started cursing again, his colleague (older female who was at the cash register) seemed annoyed by his unprofessional behavior and she said " he needs to stop this". At this point, I did not want to ever return to this restaurant. The service was bad, unprofessional staff, and they hung up the phone while taking my order. My opinion: Although the prices are reasonable at Peter Pan, it wasn't worth it. I'd rather pay more money, get better service in a professional environment. I've been to Peter Pan many times, however, my friend never dined there before. I was embarrassed and will not return to Peter Pan again.

Great, fast service! Even on Mother’s Day with an extremely packed diner, we quickly got our food. Our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious. The prices are beyond fair as well. I think we just found our new neighborhood spot.

One of my favorite spots! One of our family friends took us here everytime we came to see him. The vibe is great and the food is even better!

Exceeds expectations. Had a great breakfast here on vacation. Waitress was an older lady who was super. Recommended.

My favorite diner when I come to FLL. A menu that has an array of selections of delicious food served by people who love their customers as can be seen and heard in the conversations. It's affordable, family friendly and, above all, delicious food that makes it my favorite. Txs God-bless.

First time here it was excellent at the meatloaf mashed potatoes Manhattan clam chowder and the bread was excellent I wanted to buy a loaf and bring home but they did not have any made at that moment my sister had the fish and chips and she loved it we even took quite a bit home you tend to fill up clean the bread first but definitely return

I absolutely love this restaurant! The customer service is amazing the employees are very kind may they all be blessed.and the food is absolutely amazing! I feel like this place deserves way more shine! Highly recommended. I'm from Maryland and when I visit Florida I always come here.

Great place. Hadn't been back in 15 years and it was just as good as I remember. The spinach pie was amazing and the desserts just as good.

Great old school diner atmosphere with a great breakfast. The French Toast is awesome. The wait staff is friendly and the service is good.

We found this diner on Google so we decided to try it out and see what the hype was about. We were immediately seated, the waiter was very attentive and very friendly, he made sure we liked the food and had everything we needed. The food was amazing, the pancakes were perfect and so was everything else. I would definitely come again.

WARNING! Just had a pastrami sandwich and gyros platter delivered by Uber Eats. It was so bad I wouldn't even give this to my dog. First of all the food was cold. The bread was soggy, as well as the fries. The pastrami and the gyros tasted like rubber and the mashed potatoes had a bad sour taste to it. Who ever gave them their five star reviews must be very close family and friends.
