Pets R Family Boarding and Grooming, St Johns FL

We gave instructions to keep their leashes on for walks and specifically asked them how different staff will be aware of it. They said they read the notes and no one will forget. My first text update had a picture of them both with their leashes on and even stated “with their leashes on like you asked. ” AFTER I picked them up I got another text update with a picture of them without their leashes on. I had to call several times and finally a tech answered and said the manager was reading over my notes and gave him the phone. He said leashes aren’t allowed for pictures so they took it off for a second. I said that doesn’t make sense, because the second text didn’t mention the leash like the first one did. Clearly they just forgot. He said most pet parents don’t want the leash in the picture. I told him I didn’t believe that’s what really happened but regardless our instructions were leash only. I asked how this would be rectified and was told the information would be passed to his Associate. No other solution was offered even when I suggested a partial refund or a discount for the future. For such a large mixup I was disappointed in this response. Thankfully nothing happened but if it did then there would be no way to go back in time.

I love this veterinarian! My chocolate Labrador Retriever was treated so special. Wonderful people and a skilled good veterinarian! Happy boy!

Kind friendly and supportive staff. They don't try to upsell you. They treat your pet as if they were their own. Very happy to bring my animals here.

I absolutely love my vet. Pets R Family staff is always friendly and helpful. The staff actually look like they all enjoy their jobs. We've been very pleased with their care. Love being able to buy special food that one of our cats had to eat.

This vet group is the best. Always friendly courteous and attentive to your pets needs and your concerns. Been coming here for 8 years and very happy to recommend Pets R Family.

Do not take your pets to this place, the service is very bad, they do not have staff to care for your pets and they want to charge you extra money for having it. I do not recommend it

Technician was friendly and took great care with my aged dog. We were seen right at our appointment time. Received a phone call later with results of heartworm test. Great place to take your pet for care.

We drop our cats off because we know they will be well taken care of. Everyone is pleasant and very nice. The only issue is Sunday pick ups. They open at 2 pm to get pick ups yet charge you half a day. Not really fair to the customer if you choose to not open until 2pm.
