PGA TOUR Superstore reviews
18 Deceptive business practices, salesman sold me a set of used irons under the guidelines that if I didn’t like them I could return them under their 90 day performance guarantee. Went back 38 days later after playing once with the set, the manager would allow me to return them for store credit that could only be used for irons. I have never been told I can only return a product within the stores timeline but only use the credit for a specific item. The rude gentleman who ended up being the store manager (looks like Sid the sloth from ice age) pointed to a sign saying this outlines the return policy. After reading it it does not say anything about the policy in question. Called corporate customer service, they too were confused to why they wouldn’t honor the policy, had customer service on speaker phone to listen to the store manager tell me customer service has no idea what they are talking about and if I want to exchange a putter I can only use that credit towards a a putter, driver, irons, wedges etc.
Legally speaking the language they use in their customer service page is vague, only sentence they keep telling me is “similar items” I am returning golf clubs to buy different golf clubs using the store credit that would be issued.
I spend good money at this store and frequently visit it as it’s near my house, to be treated like this is laughable. I can only assume life hasn’t been great to this guy and he has finally obtained a certain amount of power as a store manager and wants to abuse it.
Edwin watts golf has several locations with slot friendlier people, I’d prefer doing business with after this experience
I visit this store at least once a week. It's therapy for me, better than The Home Depot. Recently I had the urge to explore new irons to increase my distance as I am not getting any younger. I met with your fitter Mike Miller and commenced the fitting process by hitting my own club first. I have been playing the Mizuno JPX 900 Tour Irons for about 5 years now. We tested several clubs and different shafts and low and behold The Mizuno JPX 923 Hot Metal Irons were the undeniable winners with the UST Mamiya 460 F3 shafts. My 7 iron distance increased from 150 yds to 170 yds side by side. I placed my order and am so looking forward to taking delivery when they arrive at the store. Mike was truly professional and did not pressure me to buy just to make a sale. I appreciate your great customer service.
Edited in 2023 to say the store is inconsistent in pricing. Once you grab someone’s attention to help you, they will charge you whatever they feel like it. Everywhere you go, places offer free gripping services as long as you buy the grip from them. Not here and they’ll deny that’s ever been the case. Re-gripping and over-gripping is the same price despite involving different level of effort. Obviously I am not new to the store and to tennis related services either and it’s time to move on to better places with fair prices and clear standards.
I had a great experience with this store and Jordan in the tennis department. The girls at the register overcharged me and Jordan was the one who caught the mistake and contacted me to make it right. Thanks to his superior customer service, I was not only reimbursed but also helped with my tennis rackets the same day. Thank you Jordan!
My son and I have been visiting this store for sometime now. We fortunately had the opportunity to meet with Mark who has been super helpful in getting our clubs fitted. His customer service is a reason why we continue to go back to the store. He is so well versed on golf clubs for kids and gives us so much attention when we visit the store. Thank you Mark!
Great store and always find Marc to be super helpful. He’s accommodating, patient and always attentive to the needs I have when I come in for sales or service. Highly recommend the store and Marc for your golf needs.
I started golfing a year ago and would go to this store for all my golfing needs. Since then, they changed management and wow, what a difference. Marc M is the area manager and has changed this store tremendously. The whole store is much more helpful, and nicer. Love it! Great job Marc.
VERY VERY happy with the service. Comes here all the time, always change my grips here and is happy with the service every single time. Go to Marc (the manager) AMAZING!
Marc at the service desk is awesome, I had something I needed to change in an order for some clubs and he did everything that he could to fix it with no hesitation and got the problem solved!
I had wonderful service while looking to purchase a tennis racket. Kudos to "Katty" an employee who had a smile on her face and a great attitude while trying to help me answer my questions and help me checkout. PGA Store on Linton has an excellent selection of rackets and demo rackets and a place to try them out before purchasing or taking rackets home.
All I wanted to do was try a new shaft for my driver while I waited the 30 min for my trade-ins to be evaluated. After mindlessly wandering around for 20 minutes, waiting for any employee to be in the fitting area, the one that did come help me, huffed and puffed and rolled his eyes when I asked him to change the loft on the shaft, as if I was an inconvenience (Knowing I couldn't do it myself due to it being their shaft). To top it all off, when these concerns were brought up to the manager, he gave me the blankest stare, no apology, and simply said "well what do you want me to do about it, you want to start the whole process all over? "
This is not customer service by any means. The whole staff needs remedial training on proper customer service. I would have been happy with a simple sorry, but now I'll drive the extra 25 min to go to PGA Boulevard.
Had to make some exchanges and find the right club. Marc Moschetto gave me his full attention and was extremely patient with me. I drive from Lake Worth to Delray just to get the personal attention I get at the PGA Superstore in Delray Beach.
Terrible place, terrible customer services, terrible work places, everyone in there is rude. They act very entitled I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying from their store or working there!
I went in to get my pickleball paddle regripped. Jordan in the tennis section was very knowledgeable and got it done very quickly.
Terrible place to work. Yeah, terrible place to shop at bad customer service bad management. I’m in knowin Shopping here or Hijo Ricky here because the managers are Subaru door the interview process it will fire you without notice.
I had a great shopping experience buying a driver and a hybrid club in the Delray store today. Salesperson Gary has decades of experience and is knowledgeable about all brands and types of clubs. He didn't hesitate to facilitate a special order when the club I was seeking was not in stock. Manager Mark at check out was exceedingly professional and accommodating. Thank you both!
An update to shopping at the Delray store. Went into this store again with my husband to purchase a club. With the helpful guidance of Cory, we were directed to the most appropriate wood. Marc at the club desk was so helpful with cutting the shaft to the exact size too. Thanks for your help!
Earlier this week i went to the Pga superstore on Linton Blvd i went there with the intent to buy new irons Buck who is in equipment repair and fitted new grips on my wedges helped me get the chance to hit the irons i was interested in In doing this we found a real problem with my swing to the point that they said NOT to buy new clubs i was then able to get a walk in Swing analysis with golf instructor Holly I was unable to launch the ball off the hitting pad Holly began to rework my swing it was so messed up it was impossible to determine what shaft i should be using and again NO to new clubs In this day and age what business suggests not to buy something Well i left there impressed and with a lesson package, notes, and a short video of my swing Have already practiced what i was shown and with good results Look forward to my first official lesson with Holly When the time is right there is no doubt i will purchase my new irons from Buck and the PGA SuperStore Cudos to PGA SS and Buck Holly and let me not Forget Mike for being honest and not trying to just sell me something for the sale
I have to say that the store is pretty spectacular. The customer service however is subpar. Not one employee even approached me until I was hitting balls in one of the bays (about 30 minutes after being in the store). Then when they did approach me they proceeded to scold me, telling me I couldn't be there without an attendant. I'm not sure I'll be back. Also, you can get better prices at a second-hand sports store, eBay, or Amazon. Just sayin'.
My experience was great. I came in without an appointment and was helped by Mike Miller right away. He was extremely helpful and patient. He provided me with a plethora of information for me to make a responsible decision. Highly recommend.
