PT Doctors of Florida provides both excellent customer service and excellent clinical service. I can recommend Dr. Scott Swetland without reservation. He is knowledgable and compasionate; he is also a very posiive person.

These are the very best therapists I've ever been to. Highly recommend them for all your post surgery and pain needs.

From day one the Staff at Physical Therapy were professional, compassionate, sympathetic and understanding to my needs. Dr. Sweetland and Maggie have lots of knowledge and always had different ways of making therapy fun even though it was painful. You have to have a great personality to do this job and to work with all kinds of injuries which the staff had. It's a small place but it was like going to see family which made me comfortable in doing my exercise's. They would push you but only to what you could handle and always making sure you were comfortable doing the exercise you were doing. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I have an inoperable spinal deformity and sought help to stabilize my condition. Dr Scott Swetland was the most knowlegable therapist I have seen. He worked with me to make my body work in ways that won't hurt me. He listens and responds. He really has an incredible understanding of how the body, and muscles interact. I highly recommend this practice if you are serious ablout improving your quality of life.

I have been going to this wonderful practice for 4 months. They took my referral from Maryland. I was in Bradenton for the winter months visiting my daughter and family.
John has a great set up and his therapists are all caring and very knowledgeable, and very nice. And he is there working along with his staff. I worked with Megan and their PTA Maggie. Both have helped me so much. You get your therapist’s undivided attention for an hour.
It’s a small practice so you really get to know all who work there and they get to know you even if you aren’t their patient. It’s also very clean.
As a retired RN, I HIGHLY recommend this practice. I have had physical therapy in a very large practice in Maryland previously, and while I was fortunate to have an excellent therapist, it was just not as caring as a small practice. I will not hesitate to use this practice if I need it when I return to Bradenton next winter!

Scott and the rest of the team were great.
I had a knee replacement that did not go well and came to Florida for 3 weeks at their place for PT.
I received better treatment in 3 weeks than I received at home in 10 weeks.
They were more hands on which was needed.

Megan and Cynthia solved problems other PTs weren't able to - by taking a whole-body approach to my back problems. Very highly recommend!

I have pinched nerves in my lower back and went to physical therapy doctors for exercises that would help. Scott helped with my back pain but also on an increasing level of difficulty worked with me on therapy exercises to improve my balance and strength. I intend to go back for increased therapy periodically since this has improved my quality of life.

Physical Therapy Doctors of Florida has been excellent in helping me recover from rotator cuff surgery. I started my therapy in Pennsylvania where each therapist works on more than one person at a time. Their methods were much more harsh. I was pleased to find that, at Physical Therapy Doctors of Florida, the therapist gives you individual attention, working solely on you for a full hour. Additionally, their methods are much softer, starting out with a message and light work to get you warmed up rather than pushing you to the point of pain right off the bat. I'm very pleased with my progress. Scott is an excellent therapist and genuinely nice person.

PT Doctors of Florida has tremendously improved the quality of my life. Scott is very knowledgeable, caring and highly skilled. Having a pinched nerve, arthritis and bulging discs has limited my movement. Scott has helped me regain my strength and balance so I can enjoy outdoor activities. He educated me on my condition, equipped me with techniques to improve it, and I left my sessions feeling motivated and empowered for the future. He truly cares about his patients. It has been my pleasure to be a patient of John Mullis on a couple of occasions. As a
Neurology patient, I can share with you that John has gone to great lengths to assist me not only by hiring a person with a great deal of knowledge of Parkinsons' Disease, but considerable expense as well. I have numerous side issues because of the PD and John is always responsive. I am currently being treated by Scott Swetland (also at Physical Therapy Doctors of Florida). Maggie's assistance is invaluable. Without the three I would be lost. They keep my involvement high and my expectations as well. There are days i go in and can hardly walk and i leave feeling much better and walking better. And that is thanks to this group of people. Anyone who would like to call me directly is more than welcome.

My therapist Scott was not just an excellent professional, but extremely patient with my repeated attempts of returning to tennis too soon. It all worked out and lm back on the courts thanks to Scott! All my sessions were on time as their scheduling is a breeze. A five star facility!

My brother, my husband and I all have been gone here and they are really wonderful. They work with you individually on what you need and they are extremely supportive and caring. I would most certainly recommend them to anyone who wants a physical therapist.

From the moment that I contacted Jon I knew that I was going to be in good hands. I came to Bradenton from Idaho after a difficult and complicated wrist fusion surgery. I came to visit my sister and continue my physical therapy with Jon. He accommodated my travel plans and entered me into their schedule on short notice for therapy 3 times a week for 2 weeks.
Once I arrived for my first therapy session I realized that the service they were providing exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. Some of my sessions were with Jon but the majority were with Scott. The therapy that Scott did which was mostly soft tissue work which was second to none. I am 67 years old and have a lot of experience and knowledge in respect to my body. Scott’s knowledge of the mechanics of the human body is extensive.
Both Jon and Scott are professional, compassionate and knowledgeable in their field. If I lived in Bradenton I would see them on a regular schedule.
These guys are the BEST.

I have been working with a therapist named Scott. He has just the right balance of humor, compassion and professionalism. He has helped me get to a point where I can walk better and feel steady on my feet. The best part is, he is as happy as I am about my improvements. He actually cares and wants to help me get to a better place. He just seems to know when I need a little push and when I've had enough. This is a top-notch facility; the whole team is friendly and helpful.
