Physicians' Primary Care of SWFL Cape Laboratory reviews
12The wait here is always awful! They need to do better scheduling or increase the staff. Very disappointed.
Very compassionate staff and best doctor ever Dr. Engel is very knowledgeable, happy and helpful.
What the heck is going on? I had a 0920 appointment showed up on time and patiently waited but an HOUR passed my appt. Its ridiculous! If this was a necessity I would have walked out. Do better guys! In the last year the lab has gone to s%! +.
Karen was courteous & respectful on the phone to confirm appointment.
Karen was also extremely professional and the appointment was on time as scheduled. We were in/out & lab work was completed. Highly recommend PPC Lab.
Thanks Karen!
I had to drop my paperwork off for my labs and since I had 3 failed back surgeries in the past 2 years and live in NW Cape, I inquired if I could have the blood drawn. There were no patients in the office other than me. I had been to see my Dr. And my BP was 180/148. It would have been nice if she could have a least asked someone if I could get the blood drawn. But no. No compassion, no empathy. Sad that this used to be a comfortable place for me to get my labs. Not anymore. When your in the medical field at the very least you need those attributes.
Traveling all the way back again. Not happy
The best practice in Cape Coral. Dr Schuster, GP is AWESOME! Educates you.never pushy! Knowledgeable and kind! Staff awesome too!
They only accept their own doctors' scrips. Not indicated in ads or website.
UNSATISFACTORY.
My 90 year old mother had an appointment at 8: 50 am. WE WAITED 55 MINUTES! We arrived on time. Waiting room was crowded and some patients had to stand. Fortunaty, we found my mother a seat because she never could have remained standing for that length of time.
Her labs were drawn, but she didn't realize until we were on the way home that they failed to collect the urine that the doctor ordered. So THAT will have to be another trip back to the lab.
We have been here twice.not impressed either time.
I will get the order and take her to Quest Labs next time!
Only positive.the staff was very nice.
I wish I could have seen my phlebotomist's name tag but it was flipped around. He had long dark hair tied back in locks and he had long white shirt sleeves under his scrubs today. Staff was very busy and moving quickly through patients. The gentleman who took my blood was careful, gentle, understanding and listened to me during my short appointment. I wish I could have more experiences like this getting labwork done.
So, every time I’ve gone to have blood drawn, I’m met by two front line staff who make it a habit to represent the office like two stone cold machine processors. These two ladies begin by not offering a pleasant greeting, but rather bark out orders, “sanitize your hands”, “give me your insurance card and go sit down. I’ll call you up when it’s your turn”. Incredibly condescending tones. I watched this take place repeatedly as they treat the patients like they are subservient peasants. Horrible patient centric focus.
Hey ladies.these patients are good people. Some suffer from very serious health conditions like cancer. How about showing them some respect, compassion and give them the dignity they deserve? Maybe you should consider factory work where you can scream at the products on the assembly line and not offend them.
Fortunately, after getting through the frontline nonsense, the phlebotomist was fantastic.
Appointment time was 6: 30am it's now 6: 45am there are still 15 people in front of me and since I've been here only 4 people have been taken back the lady next to me was here since 6: 15 and was just taken back. So much for getting to work on time today thank you for the appointment time.
Nice clean facility with plenty of close parking. The pediatrics section was great from check in to office visit. They got us right in for a same day appointment. Right oN Viscaya Parkway just down from Del Prado.
