Live in Apopka and the complex decided to paint the tub in an adjacent apartment. The painter utilized a solvent based paint, for which has formaldehyde in the process. My wife works from home and I'm on disability. The fumes overwhelmed and she was unable to continue ue working that day. Giving her a severe migraine and caused her to miss work. It gave me a severe headache and slight nausea. They did not warm us or give any indication as to what was going on. They said this is normal practice and offered rent reduction. Not worried about the effects, short or long term. Will not renew and would suggest not dealing with them. Local management said to call them, but they were out of the office.

They will not give you your deposit back! Even if everything is in tip top shape! I painted the walls back got the carpet clean it’s bent over a month a still no deposit! I was living there over 7 years! Not to remind you they never fixed anything!

Picerne is A great company to work for but unfortunately Glenda the Property Manager of Laurel Villas and Laurel Court is extremely unprofessional. She creates a hostile, unpredictable, and stressful work environment for the Leasing Professionals. Depending on how she's personally feeling at any given moment. She micro manages and disrespects her assistant manager in front of the staff. If you dare stand up for yourself she will retaliate in the form of work related duties, in the most disrespectful manner as a way to teach you a lesson. I've delt with this for months watching my coworkers and at times myself tear up from the blatant disrespect she dishes out when convient. She speaks spanish to manitance that speak perfect english in front of non spanish speaking staff and residents for no reason. The rules change according to how she feels not the Picerne handbook. She just lost her assistant manager and 2 Leasing Professionals in one week, that should speak for it self. She's a Tyrant and liability that needs supervision herself, she will smile and punish you at the same time. That goes for the residents as well at both communities. I've gotten to know some amazing residents and coworkers but I am glad to be free from her reigns. Thank you Picerne for the opportunity.

When I called maintenance for bathroom help they were responsive and courteous. They fixed the problem right away.
