I went to Pigtails and Crewcuts today after discovering my normal salon permanently closed. I was very impressed with the service. My son's stylist was sweet and very good with children! I will definitely be back.

I took my 19 month old son here for his very first haircut. I anticipated a meltdown just because it seems like a common reaction from little ones. However, these ladies at Pigtail and Crewcuts were literally amazing. Not only was my son not upset, he actually enjoyed it! They have so many toys and fun things to distract them with that he wanted to keep playing once he was done! Also, the woman who cut his hair, Katherine, was wonderful! She sweetly talked with him the whole time and was patient while he was squirmy. I will be taking my son here to get his haircut every time now! It was a great experience!

Absolutely amazing place! My 4 year old son who refused haircuts for 2 years had an incredible experience here. We were blessed to have Jamie as our stylist and I honestly could not have dreamed up a better experience.

No tears, no meltdowns. She took her time and met him where he was at. She did the whole entire haircut while he was playing at the train table. That's more than above and beyond.

My son hates sitting still and does not like having his head or ears touched. Miss Lindsay was great and followed him around while he played. Another employee distracted him with toys while she did the area around the ears. She even got on the ground to make sure she got the best cut. This is the only place where i have taken him without a total meltdown. I traveled from Sanford to get his hair cut here.

Lindsay is amazing and the whole staff makes your little one feel welcomed! My son always enjoys his time here and the salon is kept very clean. Aside from his hair always being amazing he loves that he gets rewarded with a treasure after his hair cut. Seriously such an easy place to take your kids to.

Very impressed! It's my first time bringing my son to a place specifically for kids, and I can say that I won't be bringing him back to a regular salon again. Candace worked so well with my difficult child. Even though my son was unhappy about getting his hair cut, the toy box and lollipop meant that we ended on a positive note.

Awesome first haircut experience! My girlfriend got her 3 year old a haircut here and what a great decision. Ms. Candice cut her hair and kept her calm and engaged the whole time (not an easy task). They have movies playing and the little ones get to sit in cute little car chairs. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. Professional and fun environment. Thre haircut is perfect and everyone is happy!

Friendly, talented stylists with the patience of Mother Teresa! Thank you for being so calm with my rambunctious (ok, difficult) 2-year old! Sometimes I get tempted to just let his hair grow like Moana’s until he gets to a more reasonable age for haircuts.you guys know every trick in the book for dealing with wiggly toddlers. Thank you!

I never really write reviews unless its 5 starts but I am beyond disappointed. I used to go to the one in Windermere because my 6yr old has autism and that was the only place that he had a good experience. I live in Deltona but drove 1 hr to this location with the same expectation. My little one, who is 3 and is always good with haircuts anywhere, went first. After I told her the haircut (same he gets anywhere with no trouble) she made a comment to my 3 yr old “well, mommy wants a complicated haircut”. Really? So whatever, then she kept grabbing him so harshly and directing him with not a very friendly voice and seemed frustrated at him. My son kept getting hair on his mouth I had to tell her to get it, but ok it happens plus he is a kid so he moves around so I let it continue. Then my 3 yr old started to cry, he never cries! Not even at the barbershop. He said he had hair in his eye and she did nothing just kept being concentrated on the haircut. I went to him to help him with the hairs on his eye and grab him so he wouldn’t cry. He was almost done and my reason for coming was not to get the best haircut in town because his dad can cut hair and the barbershop can too and for way less, I went mainly for them to have a nice experience and for my oldest, so I just told her it was good like that. But instead of being polite about it or try to offer something to get the hair out of his face, she immidiatelly responded with attitude and got offended, this is my reason for writing this. I went to the bathroom and tried to get it out and then asked the nice lady in the front for something to get the hairs on his neck and chest. Of course I would not want my 6yr old with to have a terrible experience too so he did not get a haircut and none of them will ever get a haircut here in the future. If you just want a pretty place for your kid to get an expensive haircut come here. But if you want nice, patient, friendly people making kids have a great time while thei get their haircut stay away.

It was easy to call one day ahead to make an appointment for a French Braid. My daughter had picked the police vehicle out to sit in while waiting for our turn and the stylist allowed her to stay there while she worked. We brought my daughter’s IPad just in case but they have lots of toys and kid appropriate movies playing on several televisions.
