Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa reviews
6 Never buy a pool vacuum at Pinch-A-Penny. It's a total theft. I bought the equipment and it does not work in my pool, it stays stuck in the main drain (being closed completely) just as the skimmer has to be closed so that it can malfunction. I tried every possible setting to make it work and nothing, it does not move around the pool, today I am going to return the equipment and it turns out that they charge me a 20% restocking fee and the rest I have to use the same day at the store. The same store manager was the one who sold me the equipment. And he was not able to say anything related to the return policy. I think it is unprofessional to play like that with people's money. Well, the equipment cost $600.00
I agreed to the 20% restocking fee, but they still don't want to give me the rest of my money back. Well, it says I have to spend it at the store. I really don't know how I have been a customer of this store. The only thing the manager says is store policy. This type of policy should be said before selling any vacuum, as it is not fair at all.
The service of my pool cleaning has been the biggest disappointment I have ever experiences. I have a small slat water pool that the employees servicing the pool have not even been made aware of amongst constant staffing issues. The pool service team constantly dumped chlorine in rather that the salt the pool really needs. After months of chances and discussions with Dean the manager the pool has been green and has no clarity and today they said the account will be dropped. Never once has there been an on site water test preformed, never once have my children been able to swim in the pool without their eyes burning multiple days from servicing due to excessive incorrect balances of chemicals. These are all completely opposite of the expectations i have of a Franchise pool company. Do not service your pool here.
I went in hoping to purchase a pool alarm device because Home Depot only had ones to order. Pinch A Penny told me they could order it and it would be available in a few days but unfortunately there price was more than 100 dollars from what was available for order at Home Depot, so of course I left and was able to find what I needed somewhere else for a reasonable price. I think that this store may be small and convenient and the service is good but unfortunately I think you will pay so much more buying from here.
They are attentive and pleasant and provide excellent service to the community.
The manager Frank is rude and unprofessional. If you aren’t busying something expensive, you’ll be pushed aside or treated badly. I will never shop there again and do not recommend to any locals in the area.
