Pineapple Villas on Laguna Beach, Panama City Beach FL

The Fabulous Pineapple Villas was a superb experience for us! We’ll be back, for sure. Best location in the area, brilliant white sand beach just steps away, and the most beautiful sunsets on the Gulf Coast. Our rooms were clean and fresh, the full kitchen is a welcome amenity, and our balcony overlooked both the pool and beach. The beach was not crowded at all and the other guests were open and friendly. Our dinner restaurant was 5 minutes away, so we’ll be back, for sure.

Been here 2 years in a row. Love Love LOVE the location! I am NOT about high rises and the pomp and circumstance of "things to do", I want the beach and minimal people and this is it! Separate bedrooms, defined kitchen space. Ok, this is OLD FLORIDA! Not posh at any level! Plenty of towels, not much on the kitchen utensils, no strainers, no oblong pans, no cookie sheets and no coffee filters for the crapy coffee maker so as a coffee buff, bring your own. This year we found ZERO hangers in ANY closets! Towels and wash clothes were sufficient but everything was CLEAN! Don't forget to bring extension cords because outlets are at a premium as well. There was a toaster and a coffee pot with no power because there was not extension cord! Now, this is not POSH by ANY means! The mattresses were ATROCIOUS! If you're looking for posh mattresses then keep looking! I didn't come here to sleep! Bring your mattress pads and live on. Fabulous pool and a great hot tub with BBQ grills with bring your own charcoal and utensils for same. I know this doesn't sound great but with a few accommodations and exceptions, it was perfect for us! People or no people.

Very outdated tvs didn’t work. Couldn’t get anyone to answer phone calls when breakers tripped couldn’t get to them because they were in the garage and garage was locked. Garbage cans overflowing and stunk. Needs a good makeover.

Great views and location. Room had new couch and loveseat, very airy feel. Right on the beach!

Fantastic location, friendly staff, beautiful beach front villas, pool, hot tub and full kitchen. This place is a hidden gem, located in west Panama City beach. Pineapple villas offers private beach front villas that are perfect if you’re looking for a family friendly resort style place to stay. The beach is monitored by local law enforcement and cleaned daily to remove the seaweed from the beach. Everything about our stay at pineapple villas was perfect. Our check in and check out process was easy, the office ladies, Sue and Holly were very friendly and helpful. We already booked for our next vacation in PCB. Keep up the great work, Sue and Holly.

We love this place and come every year! This year we added my mom, sisters, nieces, son, daughter in law, and granddaughter to the list! We had a great time with family!

Very friendly staff, great location. This was our first time here and I was a little concerned reading about the cleanliness reviews at first, but I can only say, that is not the experience we had. The room was clean and in good condition. We loved everything about our stay. It was just too short.

Room was very clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is close to plenty of restaurants and other things to do, but the beach was uncrowded with plenty of room to sprawl out and play on the beach.

The views are beautiful. The staff are very friendly. These are the 2 things I'm giving the rating for.

Awful, dirty, disgusting, unsanitary, overpriced and in MAJOR need of some deep cleaning and updates. My family chose this because my parents wanted to bring their puppy and omg we left and got a room somewhere else because it was absolutely disgusting!

The location is perfect. It could use a major update to the room, shower, etc.
It was almost impossible to close the door. Nice pool beside the beach.

I come here every year with my mom and sister and we had a great time. The heated pool felt amazing, it's quiet, pet friendly and a fantastic view. Its a short walk to the water and plenty of shells to choose from. Everyone was really nice that works there. And, most of all, We love the hot tub!

September 2021 11 day stay. Staff was very friendly, location on the beach ideal, and Florida sand/ gulf is always perfect.
BUT, that is all I can say positive about THIS place! Accomodations were filthy
(think DECADES of accumulated grime that I could not even clean off), badly in need of basic maintenance or perhaps shut down until this place meets safety and health standards. TV didn't work right, hot tub didn't work at all, dishwasher
didn't work right, doors stuck so badly it required heavy shove to open them to balcony, ceiling vents so filthy dirt hangs from surrounding ceiling. Saw no one testing pool water and saw no evidence of functioning smoke detectors. Posted up front and center on refrig is "no refunds for early check out" sign. Go figure! Save your money and a bad experience-DO NOT STAY HERE!

This place is in DESPERATE need of a DEEP cleaning and updates! The ONLY good thing about this place is the location to the beach. We stayed in Villa 25 and it was filthy! The bedding was old and worn out, the furniture was sticky and the room was musty. The bathroom was tiny with a toilet that wouldn't flush and a door that wouldn't close. This place has potential but needs major TLC to bring it up to it's potential. The pictures posted online are the ultimate catfish! I would not stay here again!

We stayed here in 2020 & fell in love with the location and proximity to the beach. Although it wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed, it wasn’t horrible. So, we reserved our week for 2021 one year in advance. Upon arrival, we found our room was absolutely disgusting! The sheets didn’t appear to have been changed between guests. The sheets were covered in hair and stains. ALL 3 beds! We went to the office and of course housekeeping was gone for the day. Liz, who works in the office, is the sweetest person you could ever meet and she was very apologetic and tried to help us. But, there isn’t a lot she can do. We were giving all new bedding. Once we started stripping the dirty sheets, we saw that the pillows, mattress pads AND the mattresses all had nasty yellowing, brown stains. We literally flipped the mattress over, put them in new full zipper cases, put on brand new mattress pads & fresh sheets. Liz gave us new pillows. The blinds were covered in layers of dirt and dust…LAYERS! We went shopping and got bleach cleaner, Lysol spray and Clorox wipes. We tried to make it tolerable for our stay. The hot tub was closed and roped off with no explanation. We spoke to several guests and everyone was complaining about how dirty stuff was. Some blinds didn’t work at all. The building itself is in dire need of repairs! It is sorely lacking structural and cosmetic repairs/upkeep…especially for ocean front.

Not clean! Doors, floors, yuck! Sand on wooden chairs, floors, must wear shoes in house, so darn sandy. Spider webs in corners, just nasty. Our last visit.

We enjoyed having the pool and beach area practically to ourselves. Pool was clean, just ran down. We stayed in villa #16. I wouldn't recommend that specific room. It was out dated and ran down. Lamps were about 20 years old I'll stay on the area next time, just a different villa.
