12 Beautifully maintained botanical garden.
They have some of the largest alocasia’s and anthuriums I’ve ever seen!
They are charging full admission to a park that is 95% closed and they don't tell you about it. They have a "pardon our dust" sign that says just the playground, petting zoo and some tables are closed. We pay the fee and every route is blocked off. There is nothing to see. We walked through whatever was open in 5 minutes. Charging full admission and not telling people that literally everything is roped off is robbery.
Great place to see the native plants and lizards. There is a great cafe and a splash pad for the kids! Highly recommend. Earlier the better for the splash pad as it got busier as the day went on. Military families got in for free!
Nice place to take a stroll but unfortunately all the attentions were closed (kids water playground, and most garden areas) only the walking path was open. This was especially disappointing because the price was still the same as when fully opened. Regardless the price for admission is $5 per person. I will revisit when it is fully opened and then reevaluate my rating accordingly.
They were remodeling a ton a few sections while I was there on 8/5, it was a still fun. I would recommend on going once they're done with all of the remodeling
Former grounds of the Parrot Jungle, they have maintained the jungle part fairly well. It is a nice Inexpensive botanical garden with a playground for the kids, and small petting zoo. They do host several events as well as live music concerts throughout the year. Also there is an amazing farmers market every Sunday In the parking lot. One of the best in the area. Across the street is a little canal where people sometimes fish. The area is nice, and good for a small family outing.
It's a very nice and relaxing place to go for a walk. Lovely place, however the farmer's market manager Natalia isn't very nice. She's rude to her vendors and seems to always have something negative to say. I've heard and seen her in a few occasions being beligerant to her vendors. She needs to relax, live and let others live. Other than that it's a great place to visit.
This is a gem of a small Botanic garden. They are doing a lot of upgrades so it will be even more kid friendly in the future. Has an art gallery and a coffee cafe. Has performance programming during the year.
Beautiful place but every thing is close for remodeling, but they charge hole price for the entrance.
Flea market in the parking lot. Kids went in to the water slide. They enjoyed the kitchen pond at the entrance.
Great experience, very pretty atmosphere. Alot of photo opportunities here. Highly recommend.
I really love this garden. Even though it’s smaller than Fairchild, I do prefer it. It is very beautiful and the water sprout area for the kids is a plus. I definitely recommend and would go again.
