While we were out of state the person who was watching our dog never told us that he lost him so we didn't find out until way later. When i finally was able to locate him I begged and begged and told them I would pay whatever to get him back if they would hold onto him until we could get there and they refused. Ive never been so angry. So instead of geting him back to his family where he belongs and was loved and taken care of. They would rather sell him for $5 to God knows who. I pray hes with a good family. But my kids husband and I miss him so much.

The staff here were so good to us in a very sad situation with our pet. They were so kind and caring and explained clearly and compassionately what we needed to do to that was best for our pet. I can’t imagine how many happy and sad situations they see everyday and manage to keep such amazing professionalism and understanding. We are forever grateful for their help.

Adopted my little Anastasia and I love her. They were quick at greeting me and taking care of me. They explained everything to me and provided a carrier and food. I am very pleased.

Its a major hassle to get them to take stray cats.
Some days they will some don't. Depends on who is working the front.
They refer you to private groups.
So what do they do?

Went to find a puppy and met the love of my life very friendly staff it's tough not to want to take every puppy home but my new 15-month-old German Shepherd is the best I want to thank the SPCA for being there and taking good care of her until I can take her home and the support that is there for the future is also excellent

What more can you say. These fine folks truly care and take care of these animals in need. I have adopted 2 cats and a dog from here and they were all exceptional pets. I will definitely adopt here again and again! They provide so much help for these animals and should be commended for it! Thanks so much for all you do!

Staff was friendly and kind. They had helped me with covering shots and getting them fixed for free. Easy people to talk to.

Received a "NOTICE "with court date & time (without court case number) and fine on home door for rabies vaccine. Vet recording mistake-put down 1 yr vaccine, really a 3 year. I was compliant in person and via the preferred method of fax (gives a time & date proof receipt). After I searched all websites for information, I called twice & faxed once regarding the" mailed CITATION" that Sgt. Hobson checked was never received by me.
I am told that the reason Sgt. Hobson checked that over the other (correct) one below was" UNKNOWN. " There was no "processed" citation enclosed so that is the reason it was not mailed-NOTHING to mail! No court date, no need to plead "Not Guilty", no fine to pay-so I am told. Stressful for the citizen not knowing if not paying a fine or not showing up for court will bring an arrest warrant for contempt. I could have left COVID unit patients briefly to go to court with lawyer. Sad, poor communication processes fuel more anxiety and seem like a GOVERMENT CLOWN SHOW to citizens&voters (wonder why people have trust and other issues with government information). THE STAFF at the BUILDING and on the PHONE seemed VERY COMPETENT.

They came pretty quickly however I was running late for work after I stopped for a dog that got hit. When I called to check where the driver was the secretary immediately called him and gave me an ETA. When the animal tech got there not only was he professional but sensitive to my emotions since the dog ended up passing away at the scene. It was a horrible experience but they helped make it easier

This shelter does their best, they are lacking community and business support! Please give what you can, used collars, harnesses and toys, or unopened dog food bags and cans. If you don't want to do the leg work, donate your time to volunteer or donate a monetary amount.

Madison was super helpful with my puppy adoption. Their process is straight-forward and we were finished in about 30 minutes. They seem to take great care of their animals

This is usually a sad place with too many dogs in cages and not enough help. My visit was very different. It was clean, smelled fresh, and all dogs that were there were in very clean conditions. There was another group having adoptions in another section. Also very clean. Nice, friendly people helping with adoptions.

What can I say, they go above and beyond for the sake of the animals. And there is no stimulus package for those poor guys
