2Love this trail! It's the best walking/biking trail. Natural preservation, fields of cows. You even see turtles, rabbits and sometimes deers.
There are no water fountains nor bathrooms, but that's what I like about this trail. The pathway is smooth (asphalt) and having open lands on both sides presents beautiful pastoral vistas! It isn't overpopulated, most of the time and even so, it is only for a very short distance, usually larger families with long children or dogs. There are none of the bars, grills, etc accessible right off this trail - it is meant for hiking, biking, blading, etc to allow one to get outdoors to simply enjoy the outdoors. I come here often and have never been let down to the beauty & peacefulness afforded by this particular trail. Just wished it could be extended many more miles. I seem to never be able to bike this trail (Ive been coming here since its completion) without stopping once or twice to take a photo or 3. The local government did a stellar job!
