Pinocchio on the Bay reviews
16A great family ran business. I appreciated how I watched this family work hard and made me glad we chose this restaurant. The food was good (sandwiches) and a couple can eat here for lunch for about $35 - A good place but it was we will probably not ever come back to again since we were on a trip. It was a decent memory!
I live in the building upstairs. Usually my husband picks up orders to go, all the time for breakfast and lunch on the weekends. They recognize him and treat him well. But, because they don’t know me, when I visit they add a service charge of 10-15% on my bill (I always tip 15% on to go orders) which means they’re getting 25-30% tip for putting an order into the POS system at the counter and shoving food in a bag. They need to inform customers of service charge on the bill, and treat customers equally. Seems like a lack of professionalism in management. Won’t stop me going there because I like the food and it’s convenient, but they should read the reviews and take note.
I haven't gone yet, I'll go in November and I'm going to like it.don't disappoint me, I gave you the rating in advance
I am here in Miami for business and was hoping to find a unique breakfast before starting my day. Who knew I would get so lucky to discover Pinocchio on the Bay which is located next to the gym I worked out at? ! Service is that old Italian “everyone feels like family” and their breakfast scramble (#2 with turkey) is hands down one of my favorite breakfast meals I’ve ever had. Simple, delicious, and well-priced.
Pinocchio on the Bay was a great find! The staff were super friendly. Food was delicious. I loved their croissants and fresh OJ! I'll definitely be back for more breakfasts here.
Awesome little Italian cafe with surprisingly great (and authentic) Italian food… Dog friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Make the effort and enjoy.
I love the food! It is really amazing! I don’t like the system, I would like someone taking the order in my table
The food is good.
I didn't like that they include 10% service, they don't warn you and then options of 20 and 18 appear, that is, leave a 30% tip and they don't even take your order at the table
I'm here all the time, have eaten around the menu, and haven't been disappointed yet. The staff are great and the owners are very nice people.
This place is a breath of fresh air! The employees are great, they don’t try to trick you with the gratuity + tip like everywhere else, and the food is full of flavor unlike.a lot of places around here. They have tons of options on their menu and they all seem great. I ended up getting a sandwich with a donut and they were both so good. I will definitely be coming back here.
The food was absolutely delicious and tasted homemade. I love that this kind of Italian food is located where it is - next to the park. Inside the design is funny with Pinocchio everywhere and there is living room style seating in addition to regular tables indoors. For the quality, the price is reasonable as well.
Cute little spot but it seems like they use a microwave or air fryer to heat up/cook everything besides the pizza.
I love this place but I give it two stars based on their lack of professionalism when it comes to dealing with issues as a buisness. They should really get new coffee cups.
A small but nice place. The best thing there. The coffee. The food did not surprise me. The chocolate croissant was dry.
What is there to say about this little place? First of, if you're a fan on Pinocchio then you've got to visit this joint. Small, simple decor and a few steps away from Ocean Dr. Lorenzo, not sure if he is the owner, was very nice and saw me indecisive on what to order and recommended the #1 panini sandwich which is basically Prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato and pesto.
Simple food prepared in front of you by a smiley young lady who is always looking around to help if needed. I know the bruschetta is one of the items to try but I wasn't that hungry and just wanted a light lunch sandwich and this one was perfect. They also serve gelato and have some variety but that's not what this place is about. Location is actually on 8th street between Collins Ave and Ocean Dr but closer to the beach and parking can be quite challenging but it's to be expected when in South Beach.
