Piola, Miami FL

We recently had a great experience of ordering take-out from the Piola. The process of ordering was easy and convenient.

The food was fantastic. Had the Caprese Mozzarella - mozzarella and sliced tomatoes with balsamic, that was so good. Also got the Houston Pizza - tomato sauce, mozzarella, jalapeno peppers, and fresh avocado. Amazing. The food will not disappoint.

Definitely check this place out.

My husband ordered pizza from this place when I wasn't feeling well one night and couldn't go out for dinner. He read that Piola is well known in the Miami area and wanted to give it a try. We tried the four cheese pizza, which has mozzarella, parmesan, gorgonzola, and brie. I'd guess the size is roughly a medium. Delivery was quick. One thing we didn't like was how the brie slices were quite large and sometimes the gorgonzola was too overpowering in one bite. Would've been better if the cheeses were better distributed in smaller pieces. I did notice that they have several other meatless options, so I would give those a try next time. They also offer different crust options and vegan cheese.

This place is just not good I ordered from here Saturday night and I had to call the restaurant 6 times before they picked up my call I needed to change a topping on the pizza before it was made and of course by the time they picked up the phone she said the manager told her it was too late because the pizza was made already. Obviously this could've been avoided if they just picked up the phone the first time I called. When I'm pizza got here it was soggy and slimy I couldn't even swallow the first bite from how gross it was. CANAREGGIO pizza this shouldn't even be on this menu. I threw the pizza out because it was just not edible. I will never order from this place again. Which is also extra overpriced Ill take Pizza Hut over this any day.

We came here for lunch.
They have a nice and spacious outdoor patio, but since it was hot we went inside and sat at the bar.
At the back of the bar there is the dining room and also a small market with imported products.

That day they were offering 1 entrée free by ordering 2 drinks and 1 entrée, but we had planned to try some new HH later in the afternoon, and didn’t know how big their portions are: we decided to go with their combos of ½ salad + ½ pizza.
So glad we did that: if those were half portions, I can’t imagine how much food you get with the regular ones!

Their salads (we ordered a Cusco and a Chop Chop) were very fresh, and the pizza (we had a Capricciosa and a Margherita) tasted authentic Italian, meaning the pizza is very light and easy to digest.

Unfortunately they were out of Peroni beer, so we ordered a carafe of imported Pinot Grigio.
Their carafe, by the way, is an amazing deal: $20 for 1 liter (= 1 bottle plus 1/3 of a bottle).

Lunch prices were a great deal, but I looked at their regular menu and they have reasonable prices altogether.

I look forward to go back and try their other dishes.

We stopped for lunch before visiting the History Miami Museum at this location in downtown/Brickell.

We had a great deal in my opinion, with the combo half pizza and salad for around $ 11. The pizza by the way is very good, definitely Italian, you can tell by the mozzarella and the light dough.
We had a carafe of white wine, which because it was $ 20 I thought it was a small carafe…turned out it was 1 liter, that’s a bottle and another third of a bottle. Great deal and we were pretty happy.

Nice place inside, they have also a small market, really small. Beside lunch specials, it seems that also their regular menu has very good prices and if they cook pasta like they make pizza, I’ll be back to try a few things.

This place is added now to my “Miami Italian Favorite” list in map.

Flor was amazing! Partied the night up with us before our cruise, excellent service from her and the managers!

The pizza was not cut. It was cold. The mobile application does not work but you are required to use it to make an order. Low quality pizza

Great place for a quick bite. Quality food and friendly service. Great atmosphere and outside seating.

Used to be great but has gone through several management changes and the quality has dropped considerably. There are many better options right around the corner (Mister 01 and DC pie for example). It's a real shame as we used to love coming to this place.

I go to Piola all the time so needless to say I love the food but the service on this one is lacking.

Sat down took way too long to even be acknowledged. The “manager” finally came up to ask and brought some menus, mind you the restaurant was empty and there must been 8 people working.

They messed up my order the only order in the entire restaurant, the manager came and apologized once again seems that all he know how to do because if he really cares he should at least have offered to take care of the wrong order and he didnt just kept saying sorry for his BAD MANAGEMENT SKILLS.

You staff reflect your lack of management skills, i did not feel like a valued customer just because u apologized 5 times in my visit that doesn’t make my food better, fix your place.

Not bad, not great.
Pizza is good but very dry.
It's their style I guess.
Tastes great but can be better.
Ordered the Moderna.
They're light on the toppings as well.
Next time I order a water they better open it in front of me.

Just ok. They had expired products on the shelves. Pizza was good though. Chicken parmesan was a little overpriced and with little to none cheese.

Food was mediocre at best. Customer service was worst I’ve ever experienced. They failed to deliver my pizza, which in turn lead me to picking up the pizza. Upon picking up my pizza both boxes were soggy. Keep in mind I ordered no less than 10 minutes prior. After arriving at home, I tried to cut into my first pizza and half of my toppings fell off. My second pizza was good but cold. I tried calling to get a refund for a delivery that never happened. Instead I got laughed at by the “manager” who could barely hold a conversation with me professionally. Poor management and average pizza with a price that doesn’t match the quality.
