Kudos to Pioneer for making our yard look the best it has in years! We went thru many services, always with an excuse for non healthy areas. Now it looks thick and green with minimal weeds thanks to employees like Jacob who services our yard. Friendly, informative and listens to our concerns.

Shout out to my Tech Dakota. He just saved me $ on my water bill. While at my house doing my quarterly service, he noticed that I had a leak on my pool pump. He called me immediately to let me know. If it wasn’t for him, God only knows when I would have known. Thank You Dakota for going up and beyond!

My tech, Jacob, is extremely thorough and takes time to talk through what has been done on treatment days. He also pointed out a problem with a neighbors yard (brown patch) and gave me valuable instruction on what to do if I noticed it creeping my way. Jacob is professional and courteous! My yard looks great!

Pioneer has not only made our lawn look great but they are professional, respectful and always educate us on what they are doing and why. I have consistently use this company for over a year now. They have killed thousands of dollars worth of Landscape and when new management started they promised this would not happen again, however, now my yard is dying and they are tons of Dollar weeds. I have been paying for service to keep it immaculate, but they are inconsistent with their arrival, do not call ahead, charge too much, and feel no sense of accountability. Do not use this company at all cost unless you want to throw money in a toilet.

I have been using Pioneer for indoor pest control for about six months now. The reason I am taking the time to write a review today is because I just had a service call by request and it was my first time meeting our new tech, Aaron. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Aaron really went above and beyond our expectations both on the interior and exterior of my home. In addition, I am impressed by how quickly they respond to my questions or requests for service calls in between the scheduled, quarterly service. Not only do they respond quickly (sometimes within minutes) to my emails but they always send someone out within a day or two.

While Pioneer has had a commendable history, I’ve observed a decline in service quality over the past six months. Unfortunately, my backyard has faced significant issues with both fungus and chinch bugs. Despite expressing my concerns, the response has been limited to attributing the problems solely to insufficient watering, which I find inadequate.

In seeking an alternative, I engaged a smaller family-owned company. Their assessment revealed a lack of proper treatment for the fungus, citing potential cost-cutting measures by some companies. This experience has raised questions about either the management or the technicians at Pioneer.

I recommend exercising caution when considering Pioneer for lawn care, as my recent experience suggests a decline in service quality, potentially jeopardizing the health of your lawn.

Jacob stopped by today to do a follow up and see how our grass was doing. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. Great job Jacob, thanks again for the great customer service!

We have used several companies over the last 8 years, and have heard many promises about their field techs. Austin was the true representation of what they were promising, but couldn't deliver. We have nicest lawn in our neighborhood and it is because of his dedication. Thank you

Jacob did a great job explaining the services he was doing and why, and my house is bug-free, as it always has been since we switched to Pioneer Pest Services.

I paid in advance for one year's lawn service. I went away from home for eight weeks when I returned I was shocked to find out my lawn disappeared. Did Pioneer treat for chinch? Looks like chinch had a feast on my lawn. Yes, I paid for this.

My service was cancelled in error, so they say. Spend thousands of dollars removing trees, irrigation and st Augustine grass and they killed my grass.
Called the Manager Randy and they didn’t come out for another week plus. By that time it had been over 2 months since serviced. Guy comes out in the pouring rain and sticks a sign in my yard without treating it.
I called to speak to Randy and was told he and all Management were in Texas at meetings. Got a call from some guy in their office insisting that I was wrong that it was not raining the day the service was performed and how do I even know it was raining.
I have a ring camera and work from home so I am very aware of when and when it does not rain AND I watched the guy from my office window.
Terrible company. Horrible customer service and they will kill your grass.

This group used to be great. Since they have a new person come treat the lawns in my community and my house, it’s been complete trash. Weeds have taken over and suffocated my grass. Sections have died. My shrubs have white mites and black spots. My hibiscus have DIED and I had to buy 3 new ones. Hopefully I won’t have to replace the other ones. I would try emailing the company multiple times and they finally respond weeks later. But they respond ONCE. Not even to let me know they’ve received my other emails or made note of what the tech will take a look at. They either get my lawn and shrubs back to how it used to be or I’m not continuing once my paid sessions are up.

1 star because they were great at 1st to get my $300 to start service but said they would come every month to spray and remove mud dobbers off of house and doors still have mud dobbers everywhere and they never showed called texted or anything after they never sent me a bill for my $90 a month fee to keep them coming and they flat out ignored me and I have security cameras footage to prove they never came back after they got my $300 start up start up payment!

I've been using Pioneer for my lawn for years - best I've ever had. Recently had a need for slab termite treatments and they worked with my forever changing schedule to get it done.

Great company.
