The golf cart rental was new and it might not of been the best or newest model but I loved this place. The workers were so amazing and nice the price was so affordable and anytime I return here I will use them and them only for there amazing customer service! We had a blast on the 6 person golf cart. You are allowed to go back for free gas and park for free even after hours if you need too. I called other places before I found them and it was either sold out very expensive or rude customer service. Thank you guys for an awesome experience!

Pirate rentals is THE PLACE to rent a ride around town! Very friendly, timely, and accommodating people!

Friendly, accommodating staff. They make a copy of your ID and physically record your credit card information including CVV number. Can't prove it, but interesting how some bogus internet orders appeared on my card a couple of days after our rental. The card was brand new and had not been used for any other purpose. The thief had information that was only available on the card and my license. Would love to speak with the owner about this but can't seem to find out who they are.

What a pleasant nice attendant and the cart worked very well around the island. Would highly recommend.

This place was fantastic. Someone picked us up at our hotel and brought us to Pirate Scooter Rental so we could get our golf cart. Also got a ride back to hotel when we returned the cart. If you’re running low on gas, they fill it for you. Employees are great. Extremely helpful in going over how to use their equipment. Would definitely use them again.

I cannot say enough good things about Pirate Scooter Rental. The scooters were in great shape, fast, reliable, and FUN! They had storage compartments, locks, mirrors, etc. The staff was very helpful, and even stayed after closing to top off our fuel before some night riding. This was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely rent from here again when we return. You can take these anywhere on the island and enjoy every second of it. 10/10 2 person scooter rental!

Easy in and out scooter rental place. Everyone was relaxed and helpful. Signed paperwork and was on the scooter in under 10 min. Very easy process and a good price.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! When you have a question that needs answering, forget about Pirate Scooter Rentals responding! I had an important question regarding a future rental and nobody there even took a moment of their time to assist me, the potential customer. Why even have an email address then? As a customer, you don't want any surprises at the end of your transaction. You want the facts before you commit yourself to a legally binding contract. Businesses protect themselves with those contracts you are required to sign. Protect yourself! Ask questions! Get the facts! If they won't give you the answers, most likely they're hiding something. Simply move on and look elsewhere because in the end it could cost you! As you can imagine, after 3 days of waiting for them to respond to my question, never even hearing a word from them during that entire time, I moved on. I emailed Sunshine Scooters down the road from them and not only did they respond to my email within an hour, but they even followed up with a phone call. Now THAT'S what you call customer service!

RESPONSE TO REPLY: Why would I call? On your website you list 2 options as ways to contact you. Emailing or calling. I chose the email option. I am not desperate to rent directly from you. There are plenty of other businesses that rent scooters and golf carts on the island. I wrote. You did not reply. I went elsewhere. Simple as that. Funny, but everyone else I wrote received my email and wrote me back.

I will never rent from another company when I visit! They were super helpful when I had a dead battery. They went and took care of everything while I was out and switched it out by the time I came back a few hrs later. They were also a great deal, and made sure I knew what I was doing with great patience before sending me on my way!

Would recommend this place to anyone, free shuttle service to and from hotel. Great customer service. Affordable rates. And the scooters were the best part of my experience in key west!

Mike was a big help to get us started and make sure we were safe before letting us out on our own. They are very reasonable and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

We were so lucky to find this place on the way to our Airbnb.pricing was super fair! Guys at the desk were super helpful and accommodating! Ronnie was awesome and gave us a ride over to the ferry (we hadn’t booked it beforehand) no problem! Totally added a great feeling to our vacation!
