I feel compelled to write a review to potentially save others from some trouble and money. The motel itself is in a decent location and appears quaint. The trouble I had was with the owner and the way this property is managed. I booked a room for a few nights 2 months in advanced for my mother, my niece and myself. I then tried canceling a week after booking due to an extreme circumstance and gave the hotel 2 months notice. The hotel refused a refund and told me the reason is because I blocked others from being able to book, even though I only held on to the room for a week. If you book at this resort and need to cancel for any reason, regardless of your situation, regardless of how much notice you give, you will still be charged full price. The owners lack professionalism, empathy and understanding. It was a nightmare communicating with them and I would not recommend this place especially if you are from out of town. I LOVE to support small businesses and entrepreneurs, but unfortunately, this one is not good and you would be better off sticking with a chain hotel. This motel kept my money for a service that I did not recieve. Don't let the same happen to you, beware and think twice.

Used for fishing. Wish we had been told mini split AC was out but window unit worked OK. Gave an extra clean to dishes etc before use. Bed very comfortable.

This is a very cool little getaway place. It is a place really for carport events but they also rent to people wanting to stay in the cabins. Everything you need is right there. It’s a hidden gem in Florida.

We love this place. They make you feel at home and their accommodations are perfect for parties.

The hospitality is phenomenal. The cottages are comfortable, clean, and beautifully remodeled. So much fun, especially if you are travelling as a family! The location is so convenient.

Fantastic owners! Place is beautiful and clean. They offer boat docking for a fee and have a cleaning table, electric to charge your trolling motor batteries and a nice dock to fish off of. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit "Tampa" but never go to Tampa. 5 stars. Plus they're pet friendly, for a fee.

The accomodations are good. The pool is nice. They have one setup with a couple cabins sharing a private pool. Docks are good. Cast the river for snook, jacks and other fun fish.

The owner is not friendly.

This place is a great find! This was our 2nd visit and the staff and accommodations are awesome!

Oh my God, what a great place. We will be back. This is our new spot. Everyone super friendly and acomadation was beyond excellent. I can't wait to return.

The most nostalgic quaint piece of paradise so peaceful beautiful pool clean beautiful landscaping. Easy to other cities but not in the city. Definitely will be back when here for a tampa bay game.

Ceiling leaked in bathroom over commode. No dishwasher, oven was disgusting, bad odor when used. Unable to get anything from owner once checked in. Male dog, not neutered running at will, mating cats at night. Treated like we were second class because have service dog.

This place was awesome! The staff is friendly and welcoming, pool was fabulous, clean rooms, nice family atmosphere.would stay here again!
