Placida Park reviews
16This boat ramp provides great access to Boca Grand, Cayo Costa, Captiva, Sanibel and Pine Island Sound. Plenty of parking including large overflow lot.
Just a boat ramp. Very busy location. They have an overflow lot just past the traffic light. Daily parking enforcement at the main location, but overflow lot is not enforced due to being a gravel lot. Ice machine and Porta pots on scene.
Worst people ever not not professional cursing their clients out just because we asked them to lower the rate from 14% to eight disrespectful
Great place to launch your boat or skis. Plenty of parking and enough dock space on the sides to hang out while you wait for the trailer. Easy access to the intercoastal and the Gulf.
This is not a park. It's a county owned boat ramp. Pay to park your vehicle and trailer and that is all. Facilities consist of two portable toilets and that is it. Don't be fooled by the name "park"
Has two cement boat ramps, large parking lot for trucks and trailers, also has twice the ice machine.
Nice place for an evening walk down the pier. Park in the area by the bridge on Gaspirilla. The Placida Park on the Causeway is just a boat ramp.
Boat ramp is very crowded in evening, just have to accept that fact. It's super easy access to some nice spots on the intercoastal, so it makes up for it.
Busy, busy, just be patient, wait your turn, and others will do the same for you. When the expansion is complete this will be top notch access.
Always crowded. Not enough loading and unloading dock space. It's a tight area with many boats trying to launch or take out at the same time.
Great place to put you boat in. Lots of parking for trailers. Its a bit hectic on the weekends. So be prepared- but your parking pass in advance.
Standard boat launch but limited parking, many cars parked where trucks and trailers need to park.
. Good clean area, ramp is kinda short, kinda steep.pulled a 34 at half tide.ramp and parking not too hard but not for a first timer.tight spaces and 180 turn at the end to leave the parking area
Busiest boat ramp in Charlotte County. If your boat is bigger than 30ft the turn at the end can be difficult to navigate and some of the trees at the exit need to be trimmed
Crowded on weekends and overflows onto adjacent roadway on holidays. County allows cars to park in spaces reserved for trailers, but never gives out tickets. But FWS will be there to measure your fish!
Great boat ramp close to good fishing but the mosquitoes for the worst I've ever seen
