Tried explaining what you need not want falls of deaf ears. Very overwhelmingly bad experience.

Alex Planes is a great dentist. His office staff, not so much. They charged me for a covered service. When confronted by my insurance company, his office staff indicated that my out of pocket was due to a dental irrigation for perio that was not performed. I have much affection for the doctor and wish him well. But his staff at the tradition office has lost our business.all 8 of us.

THEY ARE CROOKS! If i can rate them zero i would. On a ppo plan they charged over 500 they wanted upfront instead of copay and put items knowing the insurance wouldn’t cover it but hit him with it at checkout not discussing it prior to the work done or letting him know those items wouldn’t be covered. I went back half an hour later to get a cooy of the medical records and complain and all of a sudden the front desk knew she charged items the insurance wouldn’t cover without billing insurance. In other words it was calculated and deliberate.

Incredible practice. Every staff member was extremely kind to me, and my hygienist was very patient while answering some questions I had. Really excited to come back:)

I as most people do not look forward to the dentist however finding planes Dental i couldn't be happier the people in there are amazing the dr is outstanding the office. Manager jamie.is truly a Rockstar! However Gracie and Audrey are 2 of the most caring people EVER there Great personalities and expertise deserves 10 stars! Best office I had ever visit and the staff is always friendly and ready to help you. I wish I would have found them sooner. Highly recommended

Went to the office to pay an outstanding balance because you can't make online payments (like most other companies allow/provide as a courtesy). Got in my car, wasted my time and gas on a lunch break. Walked in the office, no one was in the front. I could hear voices towards the back of the office. I yelled a little bit for help and figured that since this is a business during business hours, someone would come up to the first just to check if anyone had come in or not. Nope. Didn't want to continue yelling so I called the office while in the office. I could hear the phone ringing as I also heard voices in the back laughing and conversing. I called a total of 14 times over 15-20 minutes. Idk why I even stayed in the lobby that long without being helped in the fist place. Now if I had flipped some furniture over, I bet someone would have time for me then. If y'all not working during business hours, put up a sign, lock the doors. Something to let customers know what's going on so we're not wasting our time. I did leave a voicemail after the 14th call saying that I won't be back. I'll send a money order and that'll be the end of our relationship. Sucks because I really liked the hygienist there. Not a huge fan of the one dentist there so this will be an easy tie to sever. Dr Paulina Pichardo is a wonderful & amazing dentist. Exceptional skill and very friendly and kind manner.
Highly reccomend Planes for all your dental needs.
Also her staff is incredible.

Everyone at this office is extremely welcoming. It had been YEARS since I last went to the dentist so I was very nervous, but my hygienist, Taylor, and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I appreciate the wonderful treatment I received today and I’m looking forward to having a dentist I don’t hate going to!

Its was a good visit.they treated me quickly and found out what my pain was.gave me an antibiotic and scheduled my appointment next week for a root canal.

From the very first phone call to the last visit.everyone was delightful! I have never been to a dentist office where your care, comfort and piece of mind were the top priority. My first visit was as an emergency for a cracked tooth. I was seen promptly and every aspect of the process was not only explained verbally, shown to me on X-rays but also printed out. I cannot say enough about Drs. Planes and Pichardo. I would (and have) recommend their office without reservation. Keep smiling and go to Planes Dental!

Pleasent and professional staff. Clean and well equiped offices. Fee's are are competitive to other clinics in area. There is Not a lot of upsale pressure. Instead options are discussed (with doctor), and proccedures are completed in a timely manner. I can highly recommend this practice.

I have never had such a pleasent experience with any dentist. The entire staff is so professional and friendly. They really cared about my problems and took excellent care of me. They certainly took the fear out of going to the dentist. I would highly recommend this practice and you won't be disappointed

This place changed my whole outlook on going to the dentist. I used to hate it and now it's a pleasant experience! The staff and dentists are amazing! Dr. Pichardo walked me through all of my X-rays and even showed me my teeth in her mirror so I could see my cavity! She made sure I was comfortable for my filling and chose the least painful novocaine injection method, which I really appreciated! I am wary of dentists who want to fill every tiny cavity and crevice unnecessarily, but Dr. Pichardo was great about recommending fillings vs monitoring certain teeth. The dental assistant Abigail was also great and answered my numerous questions. I recommend this place to everyone!

This review may run a little long but I want to detail exactly why Planes dental is phenomenal. I somehow got a small crack in one of my molars that went unnoticed (by me) that eventually and then quickly devolved into an abscess and an extreme amount of pain. When I called the scheduler went out of her way to find a slot for me the next day going as far to go and talk to the on call Docs to see who would fit me in. To be fair and honest there was a misunderstanding on telling me when to come in and my scheduled appointment was an hour prior to when I was told to come in, again tho this was resolved again by the scheduler talking to the on call and both her and the Doc squeezed me in. For others like myself that dont or didnt know exactly how tooth pain and infection really work and expectations of stronger prescription meds being a silver bullet, the doc was very sympathetic to the amount of pain I was in but explained that pain meds are mostly ineffective and that the antibiotics they would be prescribing me is what would make the pain subside as the infection cleared up and explained in detail how my treatment would progress and initially diagnosed a root canal and crown and I was scheduled for that after the infection was cleared up (2 weeks). Fast forward to my scheduled root canal appointment. The specialist took new x-rays to decide on a treatment, here is where in my opinion Planes is superior to anyone else in our area. The specialist told me that yes he could indeed do the root canal and have a cap done, but that he advised against it and said that in the not so distant long run that the tooth would still continue to crack at the roots and I would have to invest more money in an eventual extraction and more money in an implant. He then took the time to show me x-rays of prior patients who insisted on proceeding with the root canal and cap and how their tooth did indeed continue to crack at the roots. I followed his advice and settled on the new treatment plan of having the tooth extracted and bone graft to have an implant done. Again this is where Planes dental is amazing, they draw up your treatment plan and show it to you in black and white on paper what the cost of each step is, what your insurance cost covers, and what your out of pocket cost is. Also where they are different, the treatment plan shows start to finish, so in my case it would be multiple visits to do an actual dental impant, but you only pay what is done for THAT days procedures not the whole treatment plan out of pocket cost. Where as other dentist offices in our area want the WHOLE treatment plan out of pocket cost up front. So I paid just the 1st part of a 3 part treatment plan, which greatly reduces the impact of out of pocket expense. They also offer a care credit plan to make payments if you want to try to utilize that. As to the staff, all phenomenal from the front desk, to the techs and assistants and the doctors are amazing. I cant speak to other peoples prior experiences but mine (with other dentists) has been horrid. I've had extractions done and every single one was extremely painful and unpleasant throughout. My procedure here at Planes dental was virtually pain free. Uncomfortable yes, having to keep your mouth open for an extended period is uncomfortable but there is a big difference between discomfort and pain. I was given a topical prior to the actual numbing injections (something that was never done by my prior dentists) so when I received the actual injections there was zero pain. When it came to the actual extraction my doc continually checked to see what my pain experience was, of which there was no actual pain. I am writing this review the day after the extraction, anyone who has ever had a tooth extracted, for me the next day was a very sore face, a lot of jaw pain and the extraction site was still extremely painful. Well not this time. I have only taken the prescribed motrin and I am pretty much pain free across the board, that alone speaks to how good the doctors are at Planes. I wont go anywhere else.

Taylor is the only one that I trust to take care of my mouth. She is caring and makes sure everything is done to give my mouth the best care that can be given. She is very knowledgeable and treats me with kindness but is also very professional when it comes to doing her job properly. If you offered 100 stars instead of 5, I would light all of them.
