Planned Parenthood - Gainesville Health Center

I’ve posted a review before but I feel the need to share again. I get blood work every few months due to my testosterone and I absolutely hate needles and it’s always a huge deal to go get it done. But the nurses that helped with my blood draw were absolutely wonderful. They helped me feel relaxed, when I felt nauseous during they held an alcohol wipe to my nose which immediately took away my nauseousness! And after I still felt light headed so they sat with me and made sure I was okay before I left. They all genuinely care about me and that makes me feel awesome. And that type of care is exactly why I choose planned parenthood! And it is always nice to NEVER be misgendered or deadnamed!

I drive up from Ocala for this planned parenthood and it’s more than worth it! It’s exceptionally clean and the people who work here are the best!

Absolutely horrible service, these people never answer the phone nor are they ever hardly open. I had a teleheath appointnent to discuss getting a refill on my prescription to be told that in order to get this I was supposed to have more blood work done which I was not informed of on my last vist. Due to this I was told that my $69 "visit" fee was supposed to be refunded which it never was and I was given a refill for one month that was scheduled to be picked up a week late from my scheduled dose. As well as being called back AFTER the online vist to be told they forgot to charge me for my labs which we're $90 and I couldnt afford another $90 on top of the $69 I just paid so made a partial payment of $40 which I received an email recipet but nothing reflected in the bank account according. I did not find out about my miss scheduled dose until conacting the pharmacy and upon attempting to get ahold of these people since my "visit" on 12/17 and them being only open 3 days a week and never answering the phone it's impossible to get any information or help from these people. When I finally did get in contact with some after waiting on hold for basically an hour and a half (I work 8-5 Mon-Fri so I had to make multiple attempts) she said she would push my prescription through and that the lady who deals with the financial side of it wasn't in but I could leave her a message. So I left a message waiting until I got off work to contact my pharmacy to only be told nothing had changed. I'm very disappointed with Planned Parenthood and their facilitys and staff and I will be getting a new health care provider. HORRIBLE.

I've been going here for 8 years, mainly because there are only 2 locations in the state of florida and this one is the closest to me (1-1/2hr closer). I have had 7 out of 8 enjoyable visits here. They staff is nice but I have experienced one rude staff member. Overall the ladies are very nice and very welcoming and you can always talk to your doctor about any issues with staff members. I feel very comfortable here! This Place is very clean, everyone is very respectful, judgement free place! 20x better then any federal or state health department. They do not force PAP, STD, Or any other tests onto you, they will educate you about your health and give you much information. Birth control is no hassle. You can now order online and get delivered thought mail! ️ Recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience here. Even with the wait going a little past my appointment time, the atmosphere of the office is enough to distract you. It has such a beautiful charm not only on the outside but especially the very well-kept inside. My nurse made me feel extremely comfortable considering this was my first time getting tested, I was very nervous. The bathroom has “essentials” to take, along with a bag they gave me and more information on staying safe and medications. It was pretty pricey without insurance, but was worth having peace of mind. I respect and thank this office so much for the warm welcome and any of my personal needs will be done here from now on. Thank you planned parenthood!

I've only had good experiences here. I've never had a long wait time and the staff is super friendly and makes me feel very comfortable.
