Veterinarian Planned Pethood reviews
16Was really disappointed in the service. I was told my boxer tried to snip at the lady trying to trimm his nails which he's never acted this way at his previous vet. Also he was so shaken up and nervous after appointment it took him a few days to become his self again. I will drive the 45 min to our old vet
This place is remarkably amazing! Not only do they take extraordinary care of our fur babies but they have the best prices around. Other vet offices have said negative things about them but after using them several times including for surgery they are number one on my list. The staff are very caring and patient! Great job Planned Pethood!
Went to them at 1 to find out what the story was. She said they close at 2 so as long as I was there before 2 and they would look at my cat. She gave me the paperwork as I was leaving I went home I filled out the paperwork. Pick up my cat went back walked in she it look at my cat and my cat is healthy and back to its normal self. Five stars
They took care of my rescue kitten who I took in to be neutered. They were busy but did a great job taking care of him. This is my second visit with them. I took my two dogs, also to be fixed earlier this year. So I am a repeat customer. For price and service I highly recommend.
Took my dog to get a teeth cleaning this year and they did not clean my dogs teeth. Just took him to another place in the same YEAR and he lost 4 teeth.
The staff was not attentive or professional. They didn’t have any personality and were very abrupt and rude. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Was not given any instructions on how to care for my pet after surgery. Very very unprofessional.
I called about a ultrasound or x-ray, and they had the best prices and service. Better than everywhere in the Tampa Bay area
Adopted a puppy from here that they were assisting a client in rehoming. Everyone there seems to love this place and they certainly seem like they are providing excellent vet services at prices people shouldn't have to think twice about providing for their pets. I will use them for all future vets services.
The staff was awesome and they're reasonably priced. For a packed waiting room, it didn't take too long and my lil Chic is healthy and happy! That's what matters at Planned Pethood! Did I say the staff was awesome! Thankful for that!
Excellent customer service from like minded pet enthusiasts! Excellent pricing and very knowledgeable staff! I'll be back soon and I'll be sure to make a donation to help support Planned Pethood's TNR program! Pumpkin and Joy approve of Planned Pethood. MEOW!
The staff is excellent! The services offered are very reasonable. We have had all three of the girls groomed there as well. I recommend them to everyone who asks.
NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. I beg all of you to NEVER take your furr babies to Planned Pethood. The amount of disturbing cases that come into my vet clinic after PP has made their animal worse, is absurd. Today we had a patient come in that was seen at PP for "dry eyes". Instead of medicating or treating, they sewed the eye shut for 6 WEEKS to see if it would produce tears, and if not, they were going to just take the eye out. We took the sutures out and the eye was a mess. Hopefully after properly treating the dog today he will keep his eye! PP needs to be shut down and should not be getting away with this abuse and neglect.
Have 2 Medium/Large pups and anytime we go they allow us to wait at our car and they call us when they are ready to take our pups inside. We love this courtesy they do. They are very thorough and call to check up on pets that may need additional care or have undergone a procedure/service that requires medication. Friendly staff and great Doctors. Thank you Planned Pethood ~Domino, Sadie and our Humans thank you too.:)
I brought in my dog today to get a growth on his leg looked at. Mind you, he has been to this office they KNOW he is not neutered. Got signed in waited for around 2.5 hours and then they brought him back and immediately came back and asked if I was willing to neuter him. I said absolutely not. It has nothing to do with what’s wrong with him. He’s not aggressive he’s almost 4 and bottom line it’s MY DECISION. They refused to care for him because I will not comply and neuter him. I will never be going back to this place. They have reasonable prices but not reasonable policies period!
I've taken my dog to Planned Pethood twice; once because of a leg issue and once to have his nails trimmed. I didn't have a bad experience in person and the staff seemed nice. The reason for this review and poor rating is because I scheduled my dog to be Neutered on a Saturday and paid a deposit at the time of scheduling. They called me a few days before the procedure and said my dog weights too much to be Neutered on a Saturday and they can only schedule for a Friday. Very disappointed that wasn't discussed or made aware at the original time of scheduling, so I rescheduled. I then brought him in for the nail trim and paid the full amount at time of service. I had spoken to the staff again about rescheduling the Neutered appointment and they told me I needed to make a deposit. I advised them I already did, which their response was that I didn't pay the full amount for the nail trimming because I had a credit (the deposit for the Neutering). I advised the staff that no I did pay the full amount for the nail trimming and was told I would need to bring a receipt showing otherwise. I did look back at my bank account to see if money was put back on my card for the nail trimming, just incase I wasn't aware of them crediting me back, and it wasn't. $10 is not that big of a deal at the end of the day, but to feel scammed and pay again after all the issues, to trust someone with my dog.thats a different story.
