Plaza Beach Hotel - Beachfront Resort, St Pete Beach FL

Everyone at the hotel was friendly! There are plenty of yard games for entertainment. The pool was clean, as was our room. Environmental friendliness is a plus! The happy hour in the lobby was also great! We will definitely book here again! It was very affordable!

Our family, go to, beach resort. Sheldon and his staff are amazing. The rooms have a full size fridge, mini stove top, beds are comfortable. Lots of outdoor family games, grilling area, volleyball. Love it here!

I just got off the phone with Sheldon who is beyond amazing not only did he help me when I was flustered with parking (I was unloading for a catering event) thanks to him and Alex I was also able to successfully find my lost very expensive air pod pro the communication the genuine concern that I lost it and helping me get it back even though Alex was leaving and Sheldon is working the front by himself they still made it happen! I will def be back hopefully as a guest and not as a catering manager! Sheldon and Alex rock someone give them a raise!

It's the place with the '60 Caddy Limo out front, '50's car front ends for lobby desk. A quick friendly resolution to an issue with our room door lock resulted with us moved to the beach side building. Next trip I'll purposely choose a beach side room. Our room had a kitchenette and large fridge, two queen beds and a pull out couch with a cool retro style to it. The lobby area has an outside game area, cotton candy vending machine and friendly staff.

Sheldon and his team went above and beyond to make our team building event a great success. They provided free parking across the street and gave us a special happy hour for our beach clean-up and volleyball event. It's a classic Florida beach joint. WE WILL COME BACK SOON!

Room has everything you need. Small kitchenette with dishes and pots and pans. The rooms are dated and beds are too soft. They only give 1 towel per person and don't like giving extra. It is a long walk to the water. Could have better handicap accommodations.

Wow Im shocked this is only a three star hotel!
Where do I begin! This has been a dream vacation from start to finish compliments of Plaza Beach Resort. It all began the evening prior to my check in when I got a personal call from Alex confirming my accommodations prior to my arrival. I have never had a personal touch such as this. He told me check in was at 4 but they have a tiki bar and games to play in addition to their beach front with accompanying pool. Upon checking, I loved the decorations. It was like I stepped in a time machine to the 1950’s. Their lobby is decorated so adorable. Their penny bathroom was so cool! When I got into our room (211) I was in absolute admiration. The decor was absolutely lovely and so spacious along with the full fridge/freezer and ability to cook on the stovetop and heat food easily. Throughout my stay I received personalized texts from the staff (The only other place I’ve had this personal experience is the Lowes Hotels in Orlando) ensuring my stay was perfect and that they were there if I had any questions. I love how eco-friendly and fun the resort is. I wish I could’ve taken home the orange scented soap, it was so fresh and delicious smelling. They have a smart TV and I was able to sync my Netflix and watch my favorite show. We loved the close proximity to the beach and my son loved the dolphin water feature at the pool. Theres cabanas and umbrella chairs you can rent outside of their volley ball netted area and tiki bar. Fun for all ages! The beds were extremely comfortable and the ice cold AC and fan helped me relax after a hot day by the beach. I could not hear a peep from any of the other rooms. Nika, the most beautiful and kind woman in the world, checked me out. She added a personal touch to my already 10/10 stay. She is so warm and friendly. The Plaza is so lucky to have her to make this impression on their guests. She was the cherry on top. Totally recommend this resort!
Close in proximity and a short walk to everything you could possibly need- publix, chick fa la, caddys, crabby bills, spinner’s rooftop grille to name a few.
I will be back for sure highly recommend!

I come to St. Pete’s Beach a few times a year to visit family. This is my first time staying here and they now have themselves a regular customer. I was drawn to it when I read that it is a family owned business. I like to support independently owned businesses over chains due to better customer service. I was disappointed. From the check-in to check out I was treated well. The location was perfect and the grounds are welcoming and laidback. I could go on and on.

When I first check-in it was okay eventhou I had to ask where my room was. When we got to the room it wasn't what I was expecting. We saw, I want to believe the pictures from the rooms that are facing the beach but I didn't saw the other rooms. Nika and Gabriela went and talk to me because I put the review on the Hotel. They were nice. I like to give reviews on places I go so people can look at stuff that sometimes they don't post on the page. They had a creepy door on the rooms. But other than that they were okay.

Had a fantastic time at this hotel.
Stayed over Labor day weekend with my daughter. I liked that it's a family owned establishment instead if a big chain corporation. The price for the stay was comparable to the nearby resorts and hotels.
Their rooms aren't huge but very cozy and clean. Another aspect I liked is how simplistic the place was, short walk to the beach, my car was parked a few steps from my room and the pool area was very nice and not over crowded.
From start to finish the manager Sheldon and his staff were very friendly and helpful, they ensured that we were taken care off and enjoyed our stay.

Lastly, I enjoyed their free beer and wine happy hour from 4pm to 5pm.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. It's very family friendly with a ton of amenities. The staff is top notch. My daughter left her air pods in the room and they took the time to mail them back to us. The pool was amazing and it's right on the beach. The included happy hour from 4-5 everyday was perfect. We took full advantage of the amenities and played mini golf, fuseball, ping pong, giant Jenga and cornhole. The owners definitely take pride in the property and it shows.

This place is NOT a resort by any means. I guess they say they a resort to collect the extra fee. Place has a smell and furniture very outdated. We had the suite and its very very small. Bed was literally hard and pillows flat n hard. Im writing the review so nobody else gets stuck at this place.

Beachfront resort at its finest from booking to checking in and the extra touches that are provided at this unique spot. Nika and Sheldon are top notch in their field. Welcomed in at the front desk where the décor is so retro and cool by a friendly and helpful staff. You just know you are going to have a great time. From there it only got better. The room was spotless, spacious and there is everything you need for your stay. We brought plenty for the fridge but didn't need it. Chris's Tiki Bar was the perfect spot after a few hours on the pristine beach. Chris will make you feel right at home with his warm personality and cold Rum Runners. You won't be disappointed. If that isn't enough, they offer a happy hour in the lobby with free beer and wine. The pool has plenty of space with loungers abound and a dolphin water fountain. There are also some activities to have fun with like Volleyball, shuffleboard, giant chess, etc. Everything you need is close to Plaza Beach from restaurants, bars, stores, boat tours and more. We can't wait to go back!

Great location. They have 3 small resorts, one on the Beach and we could go there and use the pool. Alexis at the front desk was wonderful. Great sense of humor and very nice. Will be staying there again.

All 3 properties at Plaza Beach are great! Staff is so friendly and helpful. Great restaurants are close by the hotel. This is a wonderful family owned hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach! Can't beat it!

From the very moment we stepped inside the front office to the morning of check out the entire stay was more than we could have expected. Adorable retro inspired updated rooms that are up-kept and extremely clean. Beds were comfy and the kitchenette was perfect. Location doesn’t get better when it comes to restaurants and beach access! If you book here wont be disappointed!

This place was wonderful for children and families. Clean, great views, helpful friendly staff, easy access to beach (even for my father who walks with a cane), fun games all around to play. I would return and recommend to other friends who stay in area. Affordable stay for 5 compared to other places in area!

This was our first time to St. Pete Beach and won't be our last. Plaza Beach Hotel was very nice and clean. It is right on the ocean, with a pool and local restaurants that are in walking distance. There is also a daily Happy Hour that I recommend to visit at least once. I would/will stay here again and will invite my whole family too.

Decided to stay in st. Pete another night after checking out of our other hotel and found this place online. Actually one of the 3 hotels they own. We pulled up at the plaza and asked if we could park there while we were waiting for our room across the street. We were able to adjust our reservation and stay here. Room is great & clean. Perfect to watch the sunset & the bar is great. Super chill & good time
