POC American Fusion Buffet & Sushi reviews
14This was a really bad experience, just 2 or 3 plates, dirty place, you pay to much for what you receive, I don't recommend this to anyone else. Really bad place
It was good but when they brought the bill? Wow. I want to run.wait to expensive. Ask for the price before you go in.specially to the ones are visiting Miami.lol after all good food and good service. Mj
Great food, great service, but not worthy of the price. It was $22 per person for brunch, the selections were small. Although tasty, it is not $22 tasty.
Best restaurant/sushi place/buffet/meat restaurant in Miami area. Best and freshest fish, meats and vegetables. You can find fine choice of meat if you are not a sushi lover. You will not be disappointed
Masks and gloves mandatory when getting food from the buffet line. They give you the gloves. Everything, EVERYTHING, is awesome. I always walk out of here happy and full. They used to have a lunch special on weekdays. But that was pre-covid. Not sure if they still do
POC American Fusion Buffet and Sushi is a true culinary experience offering a vast array of dishes from around the world.
With years of experience having worked at some of the most lauded restaurants in New York and Miami, restauranteur Will Lin, Chef Johnny HK and Chef Kevin Z have joined forces and successfully established the first ever "non-traditional" buffet-style dining restaurant.
Johnny HK built his experience in the New York kitchens of David Bourke's The Oak Room and Balthazar and has been able to create innovative dishes for POC with a special blend of Western and Eastern techniques based on his personal life experiences. Kevin Z is one of the most well known sushi chef / artist in New York having worked at renowned restaurants such as Nobu and Sushi Samba. His delicious and colorful creations will surprise sushi lovers in South Florida.
Together along with Will Lin, they invite you to join them at either of POC's two South Florida locations in Weston or Coral Gables as they are sure to please even the most discerning palate.
I've been coming to this place for years and they continue to impress. Best breaded glazed shrimp I've ever come across. It's a staple buffet for anyone who wants great food in huge quantities
I really enjoyed their food. I always get excellent service there. The place is well kept and the workers are always very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Plenty of good food, even if you are not a sushi person, which I'm not. Went with my girlfriend and there was a wide variety of items served on the buffet. I will go back again.
Due to Covid, you are giving a paper and must fill in what you want to eat. All the items on original menu are not there. Food was cold, came to our table of 4 at different times, and several servers not knowing what they were doing. The food was definitely NOT worth $40 per person. I will never go there again
Clean place. Food is fresh. Staff is very informative and helpful. The service were immediate (removing waste on table, water, etc). Price is competitive with other smiliar establishment.
Everytime I go into POC I come out very satisfied. If I could, I would live there. The sushi is always fresh and with this pandemic going on, they've really adapted well and are able to continue serving the people quality food while maintaining a buffet style dining. Definetly hoping to be back sooner rather than later.
Let’s start by saying I either give 5 stars or 0 stars, there’s no in between. If you think this place will be a fancy buffet, you are wrong. The place is full of people running around, super busy. The service is okay. They clean the buffet while people are trying to serve themselves food, so the people from the restaurant are always in your way. The place looks ugly and makes you feel pretty claustrophobic. This place isn’t nice enough to be in coral gables. I would expect this type of buffet in west Flagler, or Hialeah, but coral gables? No. Pretty pricey for little variety of food and torn up booths and chairs. Not coming back here, didn’t live up to the hype.
