I went here earlier this week and saw Ashley. My hair is usually difficult to deal with; however, Ashley nailed it on the first try. She was very friendly, easy to talk to and made sure the blonde color I wanted was on point and she did great. Everyone there was very nice, and professional. I am very happy with the service and will definitely come back. I highly recommend!

The only place that gets my hair done right! After trying so many places, I actually finally got my hair to a healthy blond without getting fried. Sarah is absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend this place!

I went to this salon for the 1st time yesterday. Had an appointment with Sarah the owner. Very beautiful Salon and clean Very friendly staff. I've been trying to find a salon that can cut my thick hair and highlight it. All I have to say Sarah is amazing She did a beautiful job on my highlights cut style. Also I've seen the other Stylus ladies working on clients hair That day looks beautiful And amazing work they all do they at this salon. Finally after years Going to different salons this salon is going to be my new hair salon thank you Sarah you ROCK

Sarah is absolutely incredible! Sarah gets my highlights and color right every single time! It’s amazing. Sarah is an artist and has an eye for the perfect color for each individual. I have never had better highlights or haircut. I am so happy to have found poised salon. Everyone who works at Poised are so kind. Sarah’s assistants are fantastic. I also enjoy the salon because I am able to relax. I always look forward to my appointments. Irl referred my mom to Sarah and my mom is thrilled!

I am visiting my family down here for the week and went to Poised Beauty Salon for a trim and some layering. I’m a bearded dude with some THICK hair down to my shoulders that tends to become a big ole mop on top of my head. Sarah absolutely crushed my cut and I will absolutely be returning. Clean space, professional, and makes you feel at home!

This salon is a gem! I booked an appointment based on a recommendation, and I’m so glad I did! The salon is chic, super clean, merchandised beautifully with the best product lines, and the atmosphere is professional yet relaxed. Chelsea is fabulous and so fun and easy to chat with! She took the time to consult with me, and made sure she understood what I wanted before cutting. Very knowledgeable about products and services, and answered my many questions. Her skill as a stylist and her attention to detail are top notch, and she gave me such a beautiful cut and style! Can’t wait to come back soon for my color appointment! Highly recommend this salon!

My experience at Poised is 5 star +! My hair color is perfect and my cut as well. Sarah did an amazing job asking me questions about what my ideal color is and did an amazing job. Sarah the owner of Poised, in Sarasota Florida on Siesta Drive, cut my long hair and it was the worst cut I have ever had. The cut had a huge hole “ I discovered it that night after combing my beach waves out, she had put in obviously to hide her mistake. I went to 3 other high end salons for their professional opinion of the outcome of Sarah’s cut and everyone agreed, it was worthy of sharing with the public my poor experience. I went back and her response was dismissive and arrogant and she told me, the hole was meant to be part of the cut and not a mistake! She made no offer of apology or any offer other than to reach for her razor to even it out and make it shorter. Certainly I would not allow her to touch my hair again to correct the hole she already created. I have been growing it out ever since. I paid $90.followed by $ 80 more at another salon to help disguise the hole Sarah created. The worst part was her lack of professionalism in how she addressed me and no offer of a refund for the hole she saw she made.

Absolutely fantastic salon, staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Loved my haircut and new style. Would highly recommend to anyone considering!

I am a super picky blonde who tried tons of stylists before I met Sarah. I’ve been going to her for about 5 years now and consistently love my hair every time! I had a wonderful experience today with Hannah. The salon was very professional and very clean and beautiful! My hairstylist was very sweet and attended to all of my requests and I was very happy with the outcome of my hair. Today I received a shampoo, blow and a style. My mother has been seeing Casie for years and both my sister and I have started seeing her as well! From cuts to colors, she always does such an amazing job and all of us always leave so happy! I highly highly recommend visiting Poised and seeing Casie, she’s the best!

Amazing experience here! It was my first time at this salon and it couldn’t have went better. Sarah, Casie, Hannah and Chelsea were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find the best stylist to fit my needs. The atmosphere is upscale, beautifully decorated and serene. The product lines they carry are even beautiful. You can really tell you are getting top of the line service and expertise with any of the stylists here. Finally found a salon where I feel confident that they will make sure I leave happy! I found Casie on Instagram. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted and she did a FABULOUS job! Better than I even knew I wanted. She really listened to me, communicated every step of the way and was so friendly! She also had another wonderful girl helping the process. I have long, thick hair and they worked together to make my dreams come true! I will continue to make all my hair appointments with Poised Beauty Salon!

What an incredible job Poised Beauty Salon did on my hair! I went in for IBE extensions/color appointment and Sarah was so friendly and professional from the consultation to my appointment. She’s educated about the products she offers, has an amazing attention to detail and clearly takes pride in her work. The hair extensions I received was an amazing experience. My stylist listened to what I wanted, the hair feels so soft, doesn't tangle or shed, the color is a flawless match, and she blended the extensions with my hair perfectly; you can't even tell they're extensions!
