Polar Tattoo Studio, Tampa FL

I got 3 tattoos done here and my artist challis was so amazing. She walked me through everything throughout the process and was so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this studio everyone was really nice!

Drove an hour to Tampa to get my very first tattoo done with Challis?

She was so kind leading up to the appointment and even nicer in person. She talks you through the process and makes sure you approve of every little detail for your skin sticker. The studio was super fun and friendly and all the artists were working on some incredible projects with other customers. I’m very excited to come back!

I am absolutely obsessed with everything I’ve gotten from Alyssa. Genuinely the most wonderful person I’ve ever met. I used to feel so uncomfortable while getting tattooed, but Alyssa makes it so easy to be relaxed. The shop itself is just as wonderful - I feel so welcomed and appreciated every time I enter. I’ve found my forever shop for sure!

After going to Polar for my very first tattoo back in January 2023, I’m so very glad I’ve continued my stay here. Specifically, with Meli; who has done not only my very first tattoo, and second, and third, she’s done all ten! Having her do all of my tattoos has been an honor through this entire past year, and will eternally be grateful for her amazing works. She did above and beyond amazing job helping me bind my story of ideas together into a reality. The creativity and talent she and her coworkers posses w/ their upbeat energies is why I keep coming back!
Again, I cannot thank you enough Meli, and so many thanks for JD, Jared, and entire Polar family for always welcoming me and my ideas and helping me along the way. The five stars stay of course, & can’t wait to begin a new era of tattoos in the Fall/ Winter featuring Meli of course, stay tuned

I have gotten two tats from Challis, and I couldn’t recommend her any more. Not only is her style absolutely adorable but she is hands down the funnest and nicest tattoo artist I’ve ever been to. It’s no secret lots of tattoo shops and artists are intimidating, and this couldn’t be anything further. She really works with you to make sure you both are equally excited about the design, and it’s so apparent how talented she is.

I’m so beyond happy I found this place Alyssa is absolutely amazing! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable on her craft, and is proficient at fine line tattoos. She made me feel at ease from the get go. The whole shop is very friendly and warm, no ego I’ve never had an experience like this where it feels like I’m hanging out with a friend. I can’t wait for my next visit.

I love Polar Tattoo! The staff always is down-to-earth and friendly. Meli is my artist and she never disappoints! She is an amazingly talented artist, and tattoos like an angel! My most recent piece by her is my favorite, she did a great job at bringing my vision to reality. I totally recommend Meli to anyone looking for black-ink tattoos in the Tampa area

Got my first tattoo by Jared. And let me tell you that his work is just amazing, and great with shading and straight lines, very clean work. I’m so happy I came across Polar Tattoo, and thankful for Jared, this tattoo means the world to me. If you want a tattoo and you’re scared to check it out, trust me come here, they all have amazing work and they’re very nice. Great environment to be around as well. You feel welcomed and comfortable. I definitely will be going back for my next tattoo

Challis was so nice and very efficient! She thoroughly explained the entire process, which I liked because tattoos can be nerve-wracking to get even if you've had them before. She was super friendly and her work is just too cute! Her designs are great and very unique. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a groovy little tattoo! Not only is her artwork great, but she's very accommodating and friendly to her clients. I don't have a healed picture yet, but here's a fresh one.

I had the pleasure of being tattooed for a second time with Tempi, and it’s a party every time! Will be back again soon!

Alyssa is the most delightful tattoo artist I have ever gotten a tattoo from and she is extremely talented. She is currently helping me complete my half sleeve and she has been so hospitable and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. Highly highly recommend!:)

This was my first tattoo and Alyssa was amazing! Super great communication during the whole planning and booking process, plus she was super nice both online and in person! She asked me throughout the whole appointment if I was okay and she didn’t mind changing the stencil size and rotation to be how I wanted it. It was 100% worth the investment and it’s absolutely gorgeous! I will definitely be returning for future appointments

Mack (@mack.tat) is the best. My fiance has gotten most of his arm done by her so far, one on his leg and my first tattoo too, she’s got a great eye for color and detail!

Had just the sweetest time at polar this morning! Jared took care of me and made sure everything was perfect.im pretty picky about tattoo shops, but this one really has just the best vibe on all fronts— professionalism, cleanliness, and welcoming environment! Will absolutely be coming back for all of my future tattoo needs<3

Found Alyssa’s work on Instagram and fell in love with her work and fine line skill. Submitted a consultation for a vision I wanted for a tribute piece dedicated to my grandma who recently passed. She was patient asked questions and listened carefully. Alyssa understood the assignment. When I saw the sketch I burst into tears. It was more than perfect I was blown away. Getting the work done was also an amazing experience Alyssa was personable kind and the shop has the best vibe. I’m in St Pete and one of those who barely cross the bridge - Alyssa and this shop was totally worth it. I will be back for future work!
