Pollo Tropical, North Lauderdale FL

Came to this location after ordering food online. Arrived at the drive threw for pick up and waited for a good 30 minutes before someone came out to say they where closed. I asked if my money would be returned and the young lady said it would automatically because they close at 7 even though the order had been put in @ 6: 30 pm. My money has not been returned. And has been charged to my account. Calling the store and no answer… how do I get a refund?

Every time I tried to order food from this establishment. There is always an issue. Today 8/10/2022 they can no chicken just pork and steak. In the past they were always out an menu item. Or there issue with payment option. Or management and employees are rude and unpleasant. I dont like giving negative reviews because we are all human and we all make mistakes. BUT I don't wont other people wasting there like I have done several times

Management trash, food trash, workers trash, no customer service just attitude. They’re mad because I’m making them work here

This place is ran by a bunch of people who don’t care, customer service is horrible. They never have anything in stock. I’ve never been to a pollo tropical that didn’t have chicken…

Bad customers service. And serve people like pigs.

Who ever is the owner or managing this location needs to drive by to see how early they are closing the restaurant.

Hours of operation says closed at 10pm. Well guess what, they closed at 8 pm. Please see the pictures to see how bright it is outside yet they are telling customers they are closed. It only 8pm.
Please update operation hours to save customers a trip just here employee telling them. WE CLOSED! GAS IS PRETTY HIGH. PLEASE UPDATE HOUR OF OPERATIONS

Obviously management does not care after looking at all of these bad reviews. My experience has not been great one day this week went to the drive up and was told that they were closing at 7 o’clock and so there’s nothing on the grill. I looked at my watch it was 6: 15 I am so over the store. Whoever runs this place really does not know how to manage the rush-hour or any other time you can never get dark meat etc. I now go elsewhere.

Wow! Just read some reviews and looks like management really doesn't care about customer service, pictures on menu must be why people eat here especially when they are hungry. My experience at this location is not perfect but I always do drive thru, the new menu with avocado is not working out every time I order the avocados are not ripe and hard. Will not order anymore there avocado selections.

This is the worst pollo in Broward County they never have chicken they rewards scanner never work bad customer service and they close early if you new in this area do not go to this pollo you'll regret it, if I can give them 0 star I will.

TERRIBLE AND DISRESPECTFUL services! I had did a pick up order tonight and they were closed, I went to drive thru and they didn’t even care to listen to what I had to say. One of the workers shut the drive thru windows on me. Don’t have any respect and very unprofessional!

The workers here are extremely rude. They completely ignored me when I walked in and I stood there waiting for someone to take my order. Finally this girl came from the back and just stared at me. I told her my order and she rolled her eyes…

Horrible service. Closed early Saturday for unknown reason. Went back Sunday, waited in drive through line, only to be told, they had no chicken. I heard the person in the vehicle ahead of me telling the worker that she had been in the drive thru for over 30 minutes and asking why they didn't put a sign out and telling the person on the speaker that everyone in line would be mad when we found out that we waited in line for nothing.

I asked for a crispy chicken Cuban. I was told they didn’t have that, so I got the regular Cuban. I seriously could have purchased a better sandwich from Subway. I spent over $11 for a mediocre mess on an unpressed hoagie. It was substandard and boring. I’ll never go back.

Bad service they always forget something from a meal and they want to argue with you about it Always have a very bad experience when I go here to this location

I dined in. The food was good but the employees are childish and the dining area was not clean. Trash overflow, beans spilt on floor near trash (indoor). And tables & chairs were never wiped down. Bathroom had a bad smell & there was no toilet paper. This was around 5pm or so. The young lady at the register was pleasant but the rest will make her look bad. They need adult guidance to be able to upkeep a business

Worst set of employees need to hire new people. We are all here for a purpose but maybe they need a lesser entry level job.customer service is not for them. Can you guys hire a manager and classy well trained people. Ty

Worst-case of customers service is Pollo of north Lauderdale the Black women of this location is an embarrassment to my race they ignore you for 5 mins before they take your order they give you attitude sad to say they need management and diversity reflects they neighborhoods. Stinks is not north lauderdale. The fact is the food is a disappointment as well.

Waited 20 min in drive thru so they can say they have no chicken.it’s not the first time either.they need to close this restaurant. Waist of space.

This is by far the worst pollo tropical in the area, avoid it and go to a different location. The staff has a bad attitude even before you have the chance to be speak to them. I have ordered twice and both times they mess it up, I was given the exact opposite of what I ordered. Maybe that is the thing to do now? Give customers the wrong order on purpose? This place is a scar on the pollo tropical name, hopefully it will be shutdown soon.

Just left and the people that's working had us waiting for over thirty minutes and no one answered the drive thru. Several people left, includingmyself. Very unprofessional. At least tell the people that you're close or is out of food.

It’s ALWAYS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE! HIRE PEOPLE WITHOUT ATTITUDE AND WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO WORK AND TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK!
