21The chicken is the best tasting thing here. The employees in the lobby area seem unhappy and unhelpful. The interior was dirty, stuff on the floors, tables sticky and over overall feel not welcoming.
Unbelievable experience four out of five employees look like they were asleep and bumping into one another. My wife went inside to get the food I was outside watching the Carnage that was the drive-thru. Hands down the worst Polo Tropical I've ever been to. I would say it was poor management but seeing what they had to work with no one person could rise above that. When asked if they had the steak special that was all over the TV the server just laughed. That was definitely a sigh to move on to something you see and don't ask for anything else.
I honestly believe this location was better, but it seems lately staff may have changed or something it makes no sense a customer is using your service and you guys act as though they are a problem. I don't understand how someone could order something written correctly on a receipt but you guys still get the order wrong. I can say I am done spending my money here.

Place is disgusting, no clean tables.
Simple 1/2 chicken meal mobile order was supposed to be ready at 6: 10. Did not get it til 6: 35pm. Chicken is dry, hard and shriveled up. The beans were floating in black dirty water.
None of the staff knows what's going on. Short, spanish male manager with black hair is clueless.
Terrible burned and ashy chicken. I used to go to a location in Atlanta that was wonderful. At this Florida location, I ordered three plates. ALL three plates were burnt to a crisp and hard as a rock with no flavor. I give reviews all of the time. This is the worst out of over 500 places that I have reviewed. It is rush hour and I do not feel like sitting in traffic for over 30 minutes just to return it. The cashier was pleasant.
At lunchtime, we wait for a pleasant moment to take a small space for something that makes you happy. Do not go to a place that treats you poorly, mistreats your food and insults you. I don't know why they have a manager if they always have a bad character.
Food was good.clean environment.service sucked, it took 25mins plus to get my tropichop.they need to check their screen better a large group of people behind me got their food before me.
I need to share my experience. The food is really good.
The last 2 times we ordered, the order was wrong, such as forgetting tomatoes, wrong rice. Really frustrating. I tweeted them and they responded with a coupon. The local Mgr was meh about the mixup but the corporate office responded.
My location in Boynton needs to keep the floor a bit cleaner.
I have been there 3 times for the new corvina fish hoping I would get a normal meal, the fish is extra small, nowhere near as advertised. Very disappointed. If they give 3 fish combined they would maybe be the size of the picture. Don’t buy the fish there!
The manager have a such a bad customer service skill and they dont know what to do and not even know have to talk to people don’t even recommend this place not more my food was not even cook well
And still today they got my order wrong.this place needs to close down! No customer service! Terrible service! My “curbside” pickup turned into an hour and a half circus. My order was suppose to have been ready at 7: 59 pm and when I get there, no phone number or any instructions. Waited at the pick up for 30 minutes and ended up at drive thru and they gave me the wrong order, had to come back, no one speaks English finally I wait another hour for try order… unbelievable! Never again!
Just had Pollo for the first time. So very sorry to waste twenty bucks. It had absolutely no taste or flavor at all, not even salt! I could do better at home. Canned beans all mush, the cheapest rice and the steak, nothing!
Place is dirty, flies everywhere!
Also, went in counter person dosnt even greet you with a hello can i take your order! Just stands there! What happened to this thing called customer service?
Dosnt even deserve 1 star. PS- went to pay with cashand was told oh we only take credit!
Found a big piece of tinfoil in my tropichop! Tried to call the Boynton location but of course NO answer! Very VERY DISAPPOINTED in the way this place is ran!
I'm editing this review and giving it 1 star. I'm done trying to get good food here. Lines are unbelievable- 30 min wait in the drive thru. Food is always dry and salty. This time I asked for all dark meat chicken and I thought the guy was going to bite my head off- what did he give me ALL WHITE MEAT. Like literally out of spite! $45 worth of food that no one ate! Don't get me started on the staff! WORST MANAGED POLLO TROPICAL IN SOUTH FLORIDA!
The place is not clean, the menu photo is not the reality of the food they serve, I really do not recommend this place at all.
The food is good.
I know they have someone outside to take orders so the drive thru line will go quicker. But, if you have not downloaded the app to see what is on the menu, then you are at a disadvantage.
I chose this place last minute and when I asked the person did she have a menu, she told me no. I asked how do people place their order, she looked over at my phone!
I go to Pollo Tropical 2-3 times a year, do I need to download the app each time I go there?
Waited in drive thru line for 39 minutes. Recieved order and chicken was tough, not good at all. Customer service doesn't matter anymore. Sad. Will not return
1st off, I live 2 blocks away. I was happy when I first moved here. The sandwiches are great. The last 3 times I ate there, the pork and chicken have been dry. The lines, even non rush hours, are longer than they should be. The kitchen just isn't efficient. I have never seen the same employees.which means high turnover. The owner is obviously more concerned with upfront payroll than long term profitability. My family of 8, have not eaten there in months.we averaged more than once a week take out. If I'm going to spend the money I do for a big family, I will continue to give business to other local restaurants.for just a couple dollars more.
Paid for 3 entre.got 2.to far to return there. Fault of man on the drive thru window at 5 pm ish. I won't return there anymore.
