Pollo Tropical, Fort Lauderdale FL

The attention was horrible, I dealt with 4 people from customer service and the mistreatment was terrible. I waited 20 minutes and when I asked for my order, it did not appear, in short, I asked for the money back.the worst place, very dirty, everything.

They take a long time to serve the customer, you ask for your order and again 20 minutes to receive

The guy in the counter loudly said "You! " to me as in what do I want, I froze for a second, first time I get that treatment in a fast food joint. I ordered the large steak bowl ('churrasco'). The meat portion was extremely small, they served me easily one pound of rice and beans and a few strips of steak. Last time I visit pollo tropical. I should've known.

Vickson and the night crew did an outstanding job despite the overwhelming number of customers inside and the backed up line of cars in the drive through! They were very polite and calm despite the stormy chaos. I saw them deal with short tempered customers in a very level headed manner and I was so impressed. The chicken was done perfectly. The staff were super helpful with little follow up requests. Way to go! It’s not easy when things are so busy and employees call out, but they did wonderfully despite that.

8 Minutes late and still haven’t open their doors to the public. I knocked on the door at they literally ignored me, including the manager. Horrible customer service.

Employees couldn’t care less if they tried. Food is always good but service is horrific. Time for a change

After almost 4 years today, July 20,23, I returned to enjoy what it would be like to remember 3l flavors of Cuban food, but I was greatly disappointed. It is almost nothing like the good impression I got years ago, when I visited every time I came to Miami. Now, at least in Fort Laudardale, I found chicken and black beans on this site with absolutely no spice at all, just the nasty taste of unseasoned chicken and virtually flavorless beans. Fried plantains on the verge of being burnt. Yucca Cheese very good. Guava Cheese very good. The last two make no worse assessment of the food.
As for the service, in the box very well, pleasant attention. When I received the order, I was missing the Guava Cheese, which I had ordered for dessert, I very politely told the lady that she owed me, she looked at me with an offensive expression on her face, she looked for it and almost threw it on top of the counter, without any kind of apology. Evil.
Average to bad environment.
I would not recommend it, at least not this one I visited.

Don't waste your time ordering through their website. Unorganized, still have to wait. Better off just ordering at the register.

Cleanliness of location was totally subpar. The food was dried, the yucca tasted like flavored yucca dough not cooked completely and the customer service was horrible. Clerk was rude and unable to explain the difference between the family meal and family meal + 2 sides.
I had looked forward to visiting Pollo Tropical, needless to say will not be returning.

Supposed to be open and serving food at 10: 30, they told me to come back in an hour. I'll have ordered from somewhere else and eaten by then.

Slow and food taste it's a hit or miss service with them there are good days you get great food and some days it's like they gave no love like they was mad when they made the food.

One of the worst Pollo Tropical experiences. Staff was slow and rude. Order was delivered incorrectly. Didn't have the sauce they should have, when I asked for it. A homeless man came in, sat at my table and asked for my chicken and none of the staff intervened. Avoid this store.

The music and television were very loud. It looks like a nightclub or a sports bar.the service is not good.

I was so excited to try this place. I tasted the plantains first and thought the rest would be so good. I was wrong. It's an uneventful food bowl that lacked any flavor. No seasoning on the meat, just lettuce, tomatoes, onions and canned beans thrown in a plastic bowl topped with costco guacamole.

Not far from the convention center Pollo Tropical stood out as my group was from Mexico and Texas. Tried the chicken sandwich, rice and black beans.
