I met with Julie Davidson about 2 years ago. At that time my mom was just diagnosed with Alzheimers disease. I went to 3 other facilities in the Ponte Vedra area but decided that Ponte Vedra Gardens was without a doubt the best place for my mom. My mom was in N. Y.at the time and was having home health care and was not quite ready for PV Gardens. Julie was an angel to work with and was very diligent at getting me all the information I needed to make a decision and was patient and flexible with everything! After going to the facility quite a few times and even talking to people who had their loved ones there, I put down my deposit. But it ended up my mom passed away a month before she was scheduled to begin her new journey to live at Ponte Vedra Gardens. Wanted the community to know how great it was to work with Julie and would absolutely recommend Ponte Vedra Gardens!

I was very pleased with the Alzheimer's Care Unit where my family member enjoyed living their life. This being as close as you can to calling it home. The Staff was very friendly, outgoing, and very supportive of our needs. Jennifer M.among several others, was outstanding in coordination of the facility's events which my family member loved participating in daily. The Nurses, Management were very professional while being very caring. Covid was a very hard time for everyone but the facility handled it well. Thank you all for your time, effort and care!

My mother has lived at PVG since 2017 and her sister, my aunt moved to PVG in April 2022 from another mind care facility in NC. They are both in their 90's and the quality of care at PVG is totally the best and far surpasses any other elder care home I know of. I moved my aunt there for that reason. They go above and beyond for their residents and residents families. It is such a relief to have an open line of communication with everyone there from the director to the staff, all willing help in whatever way they can. I live in North Carolina and they have made my life so much easier and so much less stressful. I Take care of my wife who has a chronic decease and am thankful for PVG every day. Rick Glover

My dad is very happy here. I moved him from another facility in Jacksonville to be closer to me. He says the staff is very kind, caring and seem to really know what they are doing. He enjoys his woodland view and bird feeders. I appreciate the responsive staff and seeing him with an improved quality of life.

We recently moved (three months ago) my mom to PVG from another memory care facility in Jacksonville. PVG was highly recommended by health care professionals who's work required them to visit multiple such facilities on a weekly basis. The facility is clean and modern and the staff is very welcoming. My mom loves the look of both the overall building and her well designed room. As a facility that only houses memory care residents, the staff is very familiar with the needs of people afflicted with this disease.

I moved my mom to PVG this past August because she was not getting the care she needed at Grand Living Memory Care in Jacksonville. This is also closer for me to visit.

There are so many wonderful things about this place, I can’t even begin to address them all. The staff is amazing, they really actually care for all residents! My mom was very difficult when she arrived, and their motto is “kindness always” and it sure won my mom over eventually. My mom actually says the staff takes good care of her, which is amazing.

COVID has been difficult because they have to keep the residents safe above all else. However, they are very communicative about the current procedure and process. Prior to the recent limitations, we visited my mom and would sit out in the beautiful courtyard. You always saw many staff members attending to residents with the utmost love and care. They strive to keep residents active and have an app that the family can follow with what their loved one did that day.

If your loved one has Ally, this is where they should be. It’s a family and they care for residents as if they are their own family members. They treat care givers and family with kindness and help if there are any concerns. PVG is a blessing to us.

Update on April 28,2022: my mom fell and fractured her back. The staff and director were amazing making sure she was cared for prior to calling an ambulance. My mom was stubborn and did not want to go with paramedics. However, the staff was adamant and sent her in thankfully. Upon her return, the staff continues to give her great care.

We found a beautiful place for my mother whose dementia accelerated a few years ago. The staff is amazingly kind and attentive. The resident rooms are quite large with private full bathroom. The common areas are exquisite. The courtyard is lovely. I couldn’t recommend Ponte Vedra Gardens more highly. We are blessed Mom can live out the remainder of her years here.

My mom resided here for 4 years before she recently passed away at age 90. The level of care here is extraordinary. Linda Jones, Executive Director, is a hands on Director. She is always available to family members & she cares about each resident’s well being & happiness.
The residents live in a beautiful, immaculate, cheerful memory care home. The team caring for them are all skilled professionals. The standards are high here.
Gwen Wunder, Director of Nursing, oversees the medical needs of all residents. She is always available to assist the residents & family members. She was extremely hands on, guiding our family as our mom ‘s disease progressed. Gwen assisted us with the final Hospice process. During a difficult period, Gwen used her expertise & compassion, which helped our family immensely.
Jennifer McCormick, Program Director, does a wonderful job enriching the resident’s lives with activities including music, art, therapy dog visits & field trips. She truly cares about the residents quality of life.
I highly recommend Ponte Vedra Gardens.

I have had the opportunity to assist residents traveling to/from Ponte Vedra Gardens and the staff is tremendous at this facility! They take great care of their residents and make it a priority to create a loving and clean environment. Top-notch!

I had always been skeptical of assisted living communities and wanted to make sure my parents were going to be well taken care of. Within a week they had called to tell me about the fun they were having and the new friends they had made. The staff has been top notch (especially in helping my father as he has hearing problems). Whether it’s organizing social activities, staying on top of their medical needs, or just take the time to talk to them, the staff has exceeded my expectations and the campus seems well maintained whenever we stop for a visit.

Ponte Vedra Gardens on palm valley rd is the most beautiful and inviting facility I have ever worked in. The ladies I work with all work together to help each other. Also you are not swamp by all the patients you have they even it out.
