Right after the hurricane our weekly pool service guy said we needed a service call on our pool pump but they were backed up on service so after three weeks of our pump off our pool started looking bad. My husband went to pool doctor bought the $17.00 part and fixed the problem and told them we will not need the service call, I called that Monday to remind them a few days later we see on our ring camera someone come to our door then go to the back look at the pool glance at the pump and leave after one minute. A week later we get a bill for $190.71. We did not pay the bill, After several emails and phone calls and emailing them our receipt they were still trying to collect the bill. Almost a year later we just got a letter our account is past due and they have a spot for us to send payment but at the top of the letter it says all past due accounts are sent to a collection agency. I can't believe a well known company would do this. I do not want our exceptional credit ruined but I don't want to pay them for something they never fixed. Too top it off we did cancel them after this happened but I did pay our $120.00 service fee even though they only came out twice that month.

No other pool company compares and trust me when I tell you I’ve tried them all especially our own personal pool tech Chris he’s the best the guy is caring and really wants to make sure our pool is perfect for our daughter to play in all the time I’ve tried so many companies they’ve all failed. We are so happy with the Pool Doctor customers for life. I highly recommend them to anybody else I also Recommend them to my real estate Clients. Thank you Chris and thank you Pool Doctor for always caring about giving us great service and taking great care of us.

My pool has been green off an d on for the last 2 months. They seem to have a problem with adjusting chemicals! What happened to the service department!

Pool Doctor is the absolute worst company to deal with. They leave the pool in an unhealthy and unusable condition. Our chemicals are never in compliance and we have been shut down by the DOH. The service manager Matthew is as rude and arrogant as one could be. This is unfortunate as I did business with Pool Doctor for 13 years prior and they were fabulous and serviced several pools for me from Bonita Springs to Englewood. Since they were taken over by "National Pool Partners" their quality of service is a huge fail. I gave them months to get their act together thinking it was growing pains but finally had enough. Their technicians are like trained apes and rather than brush and vacuum they just load up the pool with chlorine. I made the entire years funds available to them with a purchase order for them to invoice against but the new regime couldn’t figure out how to use the online billing platform. If I could leave "0" stars I would. I did send a note to NPP through their website advising them of the lousy service and outright rude staffing. We have moved on to another company that provided same day service to get us back on track.

Second week with the company and our technition Jerry Dorcin was amazing. He listened to our concerns and did an amazing job explaining everything. Today the pool looks perfect. Beyond happy with our service and the amount of care that went into ensuring we were taken care of. Thank you Jerry.

They change people out like clothing. Pay for premium service and I am positive they are not cleaning our filter. My husband and I did it ourselves and was nasty tons of debris certain not a week or months worth. Serious considering changing companies.

Company sold. Provided only 7 days notice that they were DOUBLING our contract price. We tried talking to them and before we even get a call back they cancel our service. Run away from these crooks!

Just had pool pump replaced by Kyle the pool doctor tech. Excellent service. Could not be more pleased with Kyle who was knowledgeable, professional and personable. Excellent!

I originally posted four stars because the service is fantastic and help in the store is fantastic however the New filter recommended by the store and installed has resulted in my pool being green even after continuing the same maintenance as I have for the past six years. In the two months I’ve had the new filter we have not been able to swim in our pool because it is green! The pool doctor scheduled a service call and claims my pool is green because I’m not keeping up with the chemicals… Just a “fluke” they say it happened at the same time as the new filter was installed. The filter I believe is either defective or too small for my pool. I will however follow the recommendations from the experts at the pool doctor and update my review accordingly. After the issues the first few months, the filter has been working appropriately.

Always have a great experience getting my pool supplies and water checked. The staff is very knowledgeable about repair and parts along with putting the right chemicals in your pool every week. Not sure about the residential service yet but I'm looking to checking them out.

First let me say I have been with Pool Doctor for over 5 years - there have been many many hurdles over the years, “most” were addressed or fixed by my husband because we couldn’t wait for them to return. We stayed because we couldn’t get any other company out here after the post-pandemic boom.

This relationship collapsed this week when I returned from a 4 week absence to find no water was circulating through my pump (and the motor just replaced by Pool Doctor) and the pool filthy and yellow in spite of supposed (excessive) chemical dumping. They asked me to turn off pump, came out to house, said they couldn’t access my shutoff because it was sealed shut, but now the box is broken and no water circulating. Called today (Saturday) told no one working but will put in a ticket.

Checked my email, my account was suspended on Wednesday (same day technician came to fix pump issue and broke my box? !) due to non-payment!? Invoice paid for June, but no response about what is owed.

More than a year ago, an out of touch, out of state organization “bought out” this location and its quite obvious the quality and service are gone.

To sum up, our issues are with their staff, poor quality of service (need to train technicians), and border-line fraudulent charging of a credit card. I had provided them a card for monthly pool service, that they used to charge a pool pump motor (we were verbally quoted for a pool pump not just a motor). The overcharging (I was told by a Lee county attorney) was my fault because I gave them permission to charge for monthly pool service and did not inform them they could not use for other services - quite the gray area (buyer beware).

Seems like from there are many negative reviews coming in from what I have read — definitely a pattern this company needs to address before they are out of business.

After having spoke with a few companies before Pool Doctor about adding a heater with automation to my pool, I began to feel discouraged. So many companies I spoke with were impatient, unwilling to give more than just surface level details, and just didn't leave me feeling like they cared about securing my business. When I spoke with Graciela and other Pool Doctor staff for the first time, I felt like I had finally turned a corner. They were incredibly helpful, answered a ton of my questions, were extremely quick to respond, and truly were the only people I spoke with that seemed like they cared.

Thank you, Graciela, Jay, Paul, and other Pool Doctor staff, for doing such a great job from start to finish!

I have had terrible service with them, they charge me for the service of my jacuzzy and they never clean it, I have complained to them on many occasions and they do nothing about it, they charge and do not work
